You cancel where you paid. On an iPhone, the path is Settings, then your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play Store and go to Payments & Subscriptions. Either way, you can also get there from inside The League through Account Settings, then Support, then Manage Subscriptions.

Starting from inside The League
If you would rather not dig through your phone's settings, start in the app. Go to Account Settings, then Support, then Manage Subscriptions, and you can reach the same cancellation from there.
The League's own instructions send you either to your phone's store settings or to this menu. Deleting the app is not on that list, so do not treat removing it from your home screen as a way to stop the charge.
What happens after you cancel
The League's terms say you keep your subscription benefits until the period you paid for ends. Cancel halfway through a month and the paid features stay with you for the rest of it.
Canceling also does not remove your profile. Your account stays where it is. If you want to leave The League entirely, that is a separate decision from ending the payment.
Check what you were paying for
Before you cancel, look at what the tier actually did for you.
a dating coach rates paid features by one test: do they let you pick who you talk to, or do they leave that to the app? On The League, the clearest example is seeing every like on the Likes You tab, which needs Premium or higher.
If you paid for that and rarely opened the tab, you were paying for something you did not use, and canceling is an easy call. If you did use it, count what came out of it. A tier that led to a few good dates may be worth another period. A tier that led to a pile of matches you never wrote to tells you the tier was not the problem.
Cancel early, not on the last day
You hold on to the paid features whenever you cancel, so leaving it until the night before renewal gains you nothing. The moment you know you do not want another period, cancel it. The rest of the current period is still yours.
If you are still making up your mind, add the renewal day to your calendar and set an alert for three or four days before it. A charge you meant to stop and forgot about is the most avoidable cost in online dating.
Use the paid days on your messages
The days you have left are paid for, so spend them where they count.
Go through your conversations in the order a dating coach uses every day. Start with your favorites and anyone close to a date, and pin down a time and a place with them. Then the conversations still going. Then first messages to matches you have not written to yet.
If your tier lets you see every like, work through Likes You before it runs out and write to each woman you would happily take out. The full list goes when the tier does.
If a plan is close, finish it and get her number, so it does not depend on an app you are about to stop paying for. coach treats every app chat as a short road to a real evening out, and a subscription that is ending is a handy deadline for getting there.
Treat any subscription on the dating apps as a test
If you might come back later, come back with a plan.
My approach to paid features is to run each one as an experiment. Pay for a single period, use it properly, and set the results beside the weeks before it. If the paid version clearly brought more conversations and dates, it earned its place. If it did not, canceling was the right call, and the money is better spent on what women see when they find you.
He also thinks men who refuse on principle to spend anything on dating apps lose dates because of it. So canceling is not a verdict on paying. It is a verdict on whether this subscription was doing its job for you.
