Where you cancel depends on how you paid. If you paid by payment card directly on FarmersOnly, go to Account Settings in the left-hand menu and click Manage your subscription. If you paid by PayPal, that same page tells you how to cancel from your PayPal account. If you paid through Google Play, you have to cancel in the Google Play Store, because Google controls that subscription.
If you paid by card on FarmersOnly
This is the simplest case. Log in, open Account Settings in the left-hand navigation menu, and click Manage your subscription.
From there you can cancel the membership. Take a screenshot or save the confirmation when you finish. It is your proof that you canceled if a charge ever shows up later, and it settles the argument quickly.
If you paid through PayPal
The Manage your subscription page still starts the process, but it does not cancel PayPal billing for you. It gives you instructions to cancel from your PayPal account.
So follow them there. The money is being taken by PayPal on a schedule, and PayPal has to be told to stop. Check your PayPal account afterward and confirm that the recurring payment to FarmersOnly shows as canceled.
If you paid through Google Play
A subscription bought through Google Play belongs to Google, not to FarmersOnly. FarmersOnly says you must cancel it in the Google Play Store.
Open the subscriptions list in your Google Play account, find FarmersOnly, and cancel it there. Removing the app from your phone does nothing to the billing, so do not count on that.
If you are not sure how you paid
Look at the statement. A charge from FarmersOnly itself points to a card payment on the site. A charge that runs through PayPal appears in your PayPal history. A Google charge appears in your Google Play subscriptions and on your card or bank statement as a Google payment.
One of those three will show it. Cancel through that one.
Canceling keeps the time you paid for, and your matches
If you cancel without removing your profile, you keep the time you already paid for. After that, the membership reverts to standard.
That means you do not have to rush to use up your remaining weeks before you cancel. Cancel on the day you decide, and keep the access you paid for until it ends. It also takes the renewal date out of your hands, which is where most unwanted charges come from.
Hiding your account is not canceling
This is the mistake men make most often. FarmersOnly says that hiding your profile does not cancel your subscription.
If you hid your profile because you were done, the billing is still running. Hiding is a privacy setting. Canceling is a billing decision, and you have to do both if you want to disappear and stop paying.
If you are locked out of the account
You can still cancel. FarmersOnly says it will help process the cancellation if you cannot log in, and it asks for the date of your payment.
Find that date first. It is on your card statement, your PayPal history, or your Google Play receipt, and having it ready makes the request faster. Contact FarmersOnly with it and ask them to cancel.
Check that it actually stopped
Canceling is not finished until you have seen it work. After you cancel, look for the confirmation on the page or in an email, and note the date your paid time runs out.
Then check the place where the money comes from. For a card, look at your next statement. For PayPal, look at the recurring payments list. For Google Play, look at the subscriptions list. If a charge to FarmersOnly shows up after the date you canceled, you have your proof and a clear thing to ask them about.
Decide before the next renewal
If you are canceling because the membership is not producing conversations, that is a fair reason, and it is worth understanding before you move to another site.
Ask yourself what you actually did with it. Did you send a few careful messages to women whose profiles interested you, or did you browse? Were your photos clear and your profile specific? Many men cancel a paid dating service when the real problem was a thin profile or a vague opening line, and they take that problem to the next one.
Cancel so that you stop paying for something you are not using. Then, if you try another dating app, fix the profile and the first message first.
The short version
On FarmersOnly, open Account Settings and click Manage your subscription if you paid by card. If you paid by PayPal, cancel from your PayPal account. If you paid through Google Play, cancel in the Google Play Store. Hiding your profile does not cancel anything, you keep the time you paid for, and if you cannot log in FarmersOnly will help once you give it the date of your payment.
