Dating apps not working
Your dating apps are not working
First, find out which part is broken
Apps are not one thing. They are photos, then a profile, then an opener, then a conversation, then a date. Most men blame the whole app when only one stage is actually the problem.
No swiping tips. A real diagnosis of your actual funnel.
Which one of these is you?
Pick the stage where it actually stops
Almost no matches
You swipe for weeks and barely hear back from anyone.
Matches, but the wrong women
You get matches. They are just never the ones you actually wanted.
Matches that never reply
You send an opener into a match and it just sits there, unanswered.
Chats that never become dates
You can hold a conversation for days. It never turns into plans.
It works, you just do not have time to run it
You know what to do. You do not have the hours to actually do it every day.
The app funnel
Six stages. Where does yours fail?
Every dating app is the same six-stage funnel, and it narrows on purpose. The question is not whether it narrows. It is where yours narrows too fast.
The drop between two of these stages is bigger than the rest. That gap names your actual problem.
What most men try
None of this touches the actual stage
What is actually broken
Match the symptom to the real cause
What changes first
Diagnose the stage before you touch anything
Find your actual stage, not your guess
Most men assume the whole profile is broken. Usually it is one stage, and fixing the other five does nothing.
Fix one variable before touching the next
Change your photos, watch what happens, then move to the profile. Changing everything at once tells you nothing.
Get a second set of eyes on it
You cannot see your own profile the way a stranger swiping in two seconds sees it.
How this actually changes
Apps do not stay fixed once you fix them
An app that works this month can go quiet next month. The pool of women near you shifts, the app changes what it shows you, and your own targeting narrows or widens as your standards change.
A one-time photo set or a rewritten profile fixes the stage it targets. Someone still has to notice when a different stage starts leaking, which is the difference between a single fix and an app that keeps working.

Common questions
How do I know if it is my photos or my profile?
Match rate is the tell. If almost nobody matches with you, it is almost always photos, since she never reads far enough to see the rest. If you match plenty but the conversations go nowhere, the photos are doing their job and the problem is further down the funnel.
Should I be on more than one app at once?
Running two or three apps well beats spreading yourself across five badly. The bottleneck is usually a stage of the funnel, not app count, so fix the actual stage before adding more apps to run it on.
How long should I give an app before deciding it is not working?
A few weeks with a genuinely strong profile is enough to see whether matches are coming. If a rebuilt profile still gets nothing after that, the app itself, your city, or your targeting may be the real constraint, not the profile.
Can coaching actually fix an app that feels dead?
Usually yes, because most dead-feeling profiles have one specific broken stage rather than being broken everywhere. Finding that stage and fixing it is exactly what changes the result.
I match, but every conversation feels the same and goes nowhere. What is that?
That is a messaging problem, not a matching one. The opener or the follow-up is not giving her anything to respond to beyond a flat reply. It is one of the most fixable stages, because the profile is already working.
Is it safe to meet someone I matched with?
Meet in a public place for the first date, tell a friend where you are going, and get on a call before you meet in person if anything about the match feels off. If you ever suspect a scam or a fake profile, report it to the app directly. That is outside what coaching handles.
