Tinder gives Gold and Platinum subscribers free Super Likes each week, and Tinder says they expire if you do not use them. Its help pages do not name a day or an hour for the weekly refill, so the count Tinder shows you in the app is the only reliable answer. Super Likes you bought in a package are a separate supply, and you can buy more from Settings, then Get Super Likes.

What the weekly supply is

The weekly Super Likes are a perk of the subscription tiers, Tinder Gold and Tinder Platinum. Tinder's pages tie them to those two tiers and do not say how many you get.

That is why a reset day is hard to pin down from outside the app. A friend on Gold may tell you his come back on one day, but he is describing his own account. Note the count Tinder shows you, and check it again a few days later. Two readings tell you more than any rule someone repeats from a forum.

They expire, they do not pile up

Tinder says the free ones expire if you do not use them. So a week you skip is a week of Super Likes gone, and they do not stack into a bigger pile for a month when you want several at once.

That creates a quiet pressure. Nobody likes watching something he pays for go to waste, so men spend the last few on whoever happens to be in front of them at the end of the week. Do not do that. An unused Super Like costs you nothing. One spent on a woman you barely looked at starts a conversation with a signal you cannot back up.

A better habit is to decide early. At the start of your week, look at the women you would genuinely be glad to meet and pick the two or three who stand out. Spend the Super Likes there, while you have time to write a good first line if she likes you back, instead of racing a deadline on Sunday night.

If you have none left

When the free ones run out, the other route is a package. In Settings, tap Get Super Likes and choose one. If you are on neither Gold nor Platinum, packages are your only supply, since Tinder lists the weekly ones with those tiers.

Pack sizes and prices change, so read your own screen. The practical point is that the supply is small whichever way you get it, which makes each one worth a decision.

How to send one, and how to take one back

Open a woman's card and tap the blue star instead of liking her normally. Tinder says a Super Like prioritizes your profile for the woman who receives it, and if she likes you back, you match.

If you tap it by accident, Rewind can take a Super Like back. That is worth knowing, because the star sits close to the other buttons on the card and a stray thumb is common.

What a Super Like does for your results

It brings your interest to her attention. It does not change what she sees once she looks, which is the same photos and the same words as before.

a dating coach explains the logic like this. Sending a rose or a Super Like, depending on the app, brings your liking of a woman to her attention a bit more than an ordinary like would. That raises the chance she sees you at all. His warning is about the cost: you give away a little power, because she knows you picked her out before you have said a word.

So a Super Like helps most when your page is already good and the woman is one you would be glad to meet. It helps least when it is the only thing going for you.

How to spend a week of them

Pick the women you would genuinely want to take out, not the ones who look best in one photo. Send the Super Like only if you have a reason you could name and an opening line ready for when she likes you back.

Keep a rough count for a month. Note how many Super Likes turned into matches and how many of those matches turned into real conversations. Then compare that with your ordinary likes. If the star clearly does better, keep using it. If it does not, let the weekly ones expire without guilt. They were free, and the best use of your week is the conversations you already have.
