They sit on two different apps, so the real question is which app suits you, not which subscription is stronger. Tinder Gold shows you who has already Liked you and adds weekly Super Likes and a monthly Boost. HingeX removes Hinge's limits and keeps your account pushed toward more daters for as long as you pay. For most men, the app that gets you more dates is the one worth paying for.
What each one includes
Tinder Gold includes everything in Tinder Plus. That means unlimited daily Likes, unlimited Rewinds, Passport Mode, ad-free use and going incognito. On top of that it adds weekly Super Likes, one Boost a month and See who Likes You.
HingeX includes everything in Hinge+. That means unlimited likes, seeing all incoming likes at once, unlimited Undo Skips and advanced filtering. On top of that it adds See Compatible People Sooner, Get Seen by More Daters and Priority Likes.

| Extra reach | Weekly Super Likes and a monthly Boost | Get Seen by More Daters, always on while subscribed |
| Standing out | Super Likes | Priority Likes |
The two lists are close in the basics and different in what they do to your reach.
How the extra reach works
A Tinder Boost makes you one of the top profiles in your area for thirty minutes, with up to ten times more profile views. You get one a month on Gold, which means one short burst.
Tinder says the monthly Boost is not included in weekly subscriptions, and some Gold plans of one month or longer may not include it because of testing. If the Boost is part of why you are buying, check your plan before you pay.
HingeX works differently. Get Seen by More Daters is a lighter, always-on version of a Boost that runs as long as the subscription is active. Rather than one loud half hour, you get a small lift all month.
A Priority Like on Hinge stays toward the top of a dater's Likes You page for seven days, then is treated as a regular Like. It looks the same as a regular Like to the person receiving it, so she does not see that you paid for it.
Which problem do you have
Pay for the one that fixes the actual bottleneck.
If you are running out of daily Likes and you want to see who is already interested, Gold does that. If you want to see all incoming likes at once and pick the ones you want, HingeX does that too.
If your trouble is that very few women see you at all, the question is whether you do better on the app that rewards a short, intense burst or on the one that nudges you steadily. A single Boost is useful when you can be online and ready to reply during the thirty minutes. A steady nudge is easier for a man with an unpredictable schedule.
If your trouble is that women see you and do not reply, neither subscription fixes it. That is a photo and first message problem.
Platinum or HingeX
If you were comparing Tinder Platinum with HingeX, Platinum adds Prioritized Likes on top of Gold. That is the Tinder counterpart to Hinge's Priority Likes, so the comparison above carries over. The higher tier on either app buys you more visibility, and it is worth it only if the base is already working.
The honest test
a dating coach says paying for a dating app is probably worth it in most cases, provided the price is not extreme, and that you should keep testing and adjusting. He also thinks a paid feature multiplies what is already there.
So run the numbers. For two weeks, write down how many women match with you, how many reply to your first message and how many agree to meet. Then pay for the app where you get the best base result, and track the same three numbers.
A man with strong photos and good opening lines gets real value from either. A man with weak photos gets a weak set shown to more people. Fix the photos first, on the app where you already do better.
Do not pay for both
Subscribing to two apps at once spreads your effort and your money. Pick one, run it for a month and look at the numbers.
If you want two apps, start with the free versions of both and pay only for the one that produced dates. Then keep the plan short. You can lengthen it once you have evidence, and you will not feel locked in while you are still finding out.
