Choose New York if you want the most strangers on foot at every hour and you are comfortable in a fast, crowded city. Choose Miami if you want a warm, social city with a beach by day and busy nightlife after dark, and you do not mind that it is spread out. Both cities run daygame and nightgame, so neither is a wrong answer. The better pick is the one that fits how you want to practice and how easily you can get there.

What stays the same

The coaching does not change with the city. Each training day is two four-hour blocks in the field. The Group Bootcamp runs three consecutive days, 24 hours in all, at no more than three students per coach. The Private Bootcamp is fully one-on-one and runs one, two or three days, with longer programs quoted on request.

In both cities your coach works live on every approach and gives feedback after every set. Daygame, approaching women by day, and nightgame, approaching after dark, are mixed to suit you. There is no skill floor, so a total beginner is welcome in either place.

How New York feels

New York is a walking city with a subway that runs around the clock. The supply of strangers is close to endless, and a lot of the people out are new to the city and open to a conversation. That helps a man who is learning, because a conversation that goes badly is soon forgotten. You are unlikely to see her again.

The daytime has a catch. Many people walk fast with headphones in, or move through crowds where reaching one person is hard. Parks and cafes tend to be easier than the sidewalk. At night, neighborhoods like the Lower East Side, the East Village, the Meatpacking District and Williamsburg are known for going out.

Summers are hot and humid, winters are chilly and damp, and spring and autumn are mild.

How Miami feels

Miami is a nightlife and party city that draws many tourists, and its warm weather means you can go out comfortably most of the year. By day, the beach and the cafes are relaxed. At night, bars and lounges fill with people who came out to meet others.

The catch is distance. South Beach, Wynwood, Brickell, Coconut Grove and the Design District are each a different scene, and Miami Beach is a separate city across the bay from the mainland. You pick an area for the day or night instead of covering it on foot. Spanish is widely spoken, so a warm hello in either language helps.

Summers are hot and humid, winters are short and warm, and hurricane season covers the summer and autumn.

Questions that settle it

Where can you get to easily? A cheaper, shorter trip wins over a city that is slightly better on paper. If one city is a short flight or a drive and the other is across the country, that usually decides it.

Do you want daytime or nighttime practice most? New York is strong for daytime approaches, mostly in parks and cafes. Miami has a good beach by day, and its nightlife is the bigger draw after dark. Your coach can weight the mix either way in both cities.

Do you like crowds or open space? Some men find a packed city energizing. Others find it draining. If crowds wear you out, Miami's open, sunny pace may suit you better. If you get restless in slow places, New York may.

Do you want a set weekend? Scheduled Group weekends are published for Miami, running Friday to Sunday. In New York, Group is available on request and a Private Bootcamp is arranged with you. If you want a fixed date to plan around, that points to Miami.

What is the season? Pick a time of year you can enjoy. Heat and humidity are real in both cities in summer, and New York gets cold in winter. A Bootcamp can be moved one time to a later date if you tell us early.

What does not matter much

Men spend a lot of energy on which city has better women. It is the wrong question. The skill you are building is walking over, speaking and reading her response, and that transfers to any city. A man who approaches a lot of women in a fine city learns more than one who spends a month choosing a perfect one.

If you live in one of them

If you already live in Miami or New York, the choice is easy. You skip the travel, you know the area, and you can keep practicing at home right after the days end. That is a real advantage, because the reps after the Bootcamp are what turn a good weekend into a habit.

Making the call

Write down the cost and time to reach each city, circle the one you can get to without strain, and then check it against the practice you want. If the two are close, the more important thing is that you go at all. Whichever you pick, you will be coached on every approach, and you will leave with a short written practice plan.
