The one dating skill that travels with you is starting a conversation with a woman in person. A ColdApproach.io Bootcamp in Miami or New York trains that skill in the field with a coach. Group is three days, and Private is one, two or three days. You train once and take it to whatever city you land in next.

If you work remotely or travel constantly for your job, you already know the cost of relocating every few weeks or months. Your gym, your coffee order and your friends reset every time. Your dating life resets too, and this article is about the part of it you can stop rebuilding.

Why the apps start over every time you land

The apps show you women near your current location. Every move wipes the slate. You land, you change your location, and you are at the back of a new queue where nobody has seen you before.

A short stay makes it worse. The apps reward a slow build, a few days of chatting before anyone suggests a drink. If you are in town for three weeks, that pace eats most of your time. A conversation that needs a week to become a date is competing with a calendar that ends at an airport.

In-person meeting does not reset. A woman you speak to at a cafe does not care which city your profile last pointed at. The skill belongs to you, not to a location setting, and it is the same skill in the next place. That is why meeting women in person matters more for a man who moves than for a man who stays put.

Meeting women when you are only in town for a few weeks

A short stay changes how you go about it, whether you have just moved to a new city or are only passing through. A few habits help, and none of them needs a trick.

  • Say how long you are there. Mention early and plainly that you are here for a few weeks. If you come back through the city regularly, say that too, but only if it is true. A line you cannot stand behind costs you more than it gains.
  • Start in daytime. Women out in a market, a park or a cafe in the afternoon are usually relaxed and not rushing anywhere. A short conversation then is easier than a loud one at night, and a coffee that same day is a realistic ask.
  • Go back to the same cafe or gym. Go three or four times in your first week. The staff learn your face, the regulars learn your face, and a second conversation with the same woman is far easier than a first.
  • Plan one night out, not seven. Pick a night, pick a place, and treat it as a session. Spending every evening in bars wears you out and teaches you very little.

When a conversation goes well, name a day while you are still in the city. An open "sometime" is how a trip ends with nothing booked. You have a window, so use it by suggesting a specific evening and a specific place.

What changes from country to country, and what does not

Customs differ. In some places a man speaking to a stranger in public is ordinary, and in others it draws attention. You will not learn every local rule, so act like a polite guest. Slow down. Learn the local greeting before you need it. Watch how the people around you behave, and match their volume and directness.

Some things do not depend on the city. Real interest in the woman in front of you is one. Being present in the conversation instead of rehearsing your next sentence is another. Leading the conversation, so that you move it somewhere and she does not have to carry it, is the third. These are skills, and a skill does not need a particular address.

The details do shift, and no training can tell you how any single conversation will go in any single place. What a coach can do is make the parts that stay the same automatic, so you have more attention free for the parts that change.

Build the Bootcamp into your route

The Bootcamp is in-person training in the field, and it runs in two cities only. Treat it as one stop on your route and the skill as the thing you carry out of it.

  • Cities. Miami and New York. Training does not happen anywhere else.
  • Group. Group runs on published Miami weekends, Friday to Sunday. The Bootcamp page lists them, and a weekend leaves the list the day it starts. Group in New York is available on request.
  • Private. Private dates are arranged with your coach, for one, two or three days. Longer programs are available on request. A Private can also run on a Group weekend, depending on availability.
  • If you need to book flights first. Ask about Private dates through the contact page before you pay, so you know the dates can work before you buy a ticket.
  • After you buy. An automatic email asks for your city and your dates. Then you book a 15-minute Bootcamp Kickoff Call to ask your questions before the Bootcamp starts. Details for the days themselves come after booking.

What you take to the next city

The coaches have been through this process themselves. They watch you approach, spot what is going wrong, and hand you the fix on the spot. What takes years to work out alone, you get in the days you book.

Every training day is two four-hour blocks in the field, and every day covers the same four parts as they come up:

  1. Approaching and conversation. Getting through the hesitation before you walk over, the first thirty seconds, and keeping the conversation going without turning it into an interview.
  2. Attraction and delivery. Genuine interest, flirting, and how you come across, including your voice, eye contact and posture.
  3. Numbers and dates. Exchanging numbers or Instagram, texting toward a date, and recognizing when an immediate date makes sense. For a man with a short stay, that last one matters a lot.
  4. Rejection and follow-through. Handling a conversation that does not go your way without letting it decide your day, and leaving with a plan.

That plan is written. You leave with a short practice plan that says what is working, what needs attention, and where to focus when you go out again, so you have something to follow in a city where no coach is standing next to you.

You also keep access to the community Slack once your coach adds you, so you can keep asking coaches questions from anywhere. There is no follow-up call after the Bootcamp.

Group or Private when your calendar keeps moving

Prices are public, and you buy by instant checkout.

  • Group: $3,000. Three consecutive days at a 3:1 student-to-coach ratio, on published Miami weekends.
  • Private, one day: $1,750.
  • Private, two days: $3,000.
  • Private, three days: $4,000.
  • Longer Private programs: available on request.
  • Filming: $350, optional. A coach films one hour of your approaches and goes through the footage with you.

Private is arranged around your dates, so it is the easier fit when your route is already fixed. Group suits you when a published Miami weekend lines up with where you will be. For a short stopover, one Private day is eight hours in the field, two blocks of four, with a coach watching every set.

Questions nomads ask

Does it help if I leave in a week?

It can, if the Bootcamp days fall before you go. A single Private day gives you eight hours of live corrections on your own approaches and a written practice plan to take with you. One day covers less ground than three, so choose the length that fits the time you have, and give your dates in the reply to the automatic email.

Will what I learn in Miami work in another country?

The skills are the same: starting the conversation, showing interest, leading it, and asking for a number or a date. The details shift from place to place, such as how direct people are and how a greeting sounds, and you adjust to those as you go. No Bootcamp can promise how a conversation will go in a given city.

Can I do just one day?

Yes. Private starts at one day for $1,750. Group is always three days.

What happens after?

You leave with the written practice plan and access to the community Slack. A follow-up call is not part of the package. A man who wants a coach to keep reviewing his approaches as he moves can look at the Mentorship.
