Likes You is the heart icon in The League's bottom navigation, and it holds the members who have already liked you. Heart anyone there and you are matched immediately, with nothing left to wait for on her side. Seeing all of your likes takes a Premium tier or higher.
Where the tab is and what a heart does
Look along the bottom of the screen for the heart icon. That is Likes You. Everyone on it has already liked you, so the question of whether she is interested was answered before you opened the tab.
That is why a heart here works differently from anywhere else in the app. There is no waiting to see whether she likes you back, because she already did. Heart her and The League matches you both straight away, and the chat is open.
Make the tab part of a fixed routine. a dating coach gives the apps a fixed slot each day, two short sessions that add up to around thirty minutes, and he handles the women nearest to a date before anything else. Likes You fits neatly into that. Open it once in each sitting, heart the women you want, and write to them before you go looking at anyone else.
Who can see every like
The League says only members on Premium or a higher tier can see all of their likes. If you are not on one of those tiers, do not assume the tab is showing you the whole list.
On this screen, that is the main thing a paid tier buys you: a full view of everyone who has already said yes to you.
The easiest openings on any of the dating apps
A woman on your Likes You tab has already done the hardest part. She saw you, looked at what you put up, and decided she wanted to know you. Every other match starts with a guess. This one starts with an answer.
a dating coach makes a related point about paid features in general. He values most the features that put the choice of who to talk to in the man's hands, rather than leaving it to whatever the app serves up. Likes You is that choice made easy, because you are choosing from women who are already interested.
Heart only the women you would take out
The temptation on this tab is to heart everyone, since every heart is an instant match. Resist it.
A match with a woman you have no real interest in is a conversation you will not want to have. A pile of them crowds out the ones you do, and it makes the app feel like work.
My experience across the apps is that being choosy pays off. In his experience, a man who stops liking women he is lukewarm about gets read by the apps as choosier, and can end up seeing more of the women he is really after. Whatever The League does behind the scenes, the practical rule is the same. Look at each woman properly, read what she wrote, and heart the ones you would genuinely ask out.
Write to her the same day
Her like tells you she was interested when she sent it. That interest is warmest early, so write on the day you match.
You have an advantage you do not have with a cold match: you know she already liked something about you. You do not need to mention it. Write a short, easy first message about something on her page, the way you would with anyone, and give her a simple question to answer.
Keep it light. If she replies well, move toward a drink within a few messages rather than a week of chat. As coach puts it, she joined the app to go out with someone, so there is no reason to keep her waiting.
Is paying to see every like worth it?
a dating coach treats every paid feature as an experiment, and this one deserves the same. Pay for one period. Heart the women you actually want, write to each of them promptly, and count how many conversations and dates come out of it compared with the weeks before.
He also describes paid extras as multipliers on whatever you already get. If you get a steady trickle of likes, seeing all of them can turn that trickle into real dates. If you get almost none, the full list is short either way. In that case the money is better spent on what women see when they land on you. Fix that first, then decide whether the full tab is worth paying for.
