Badoo limits how many people you can vote on each day in its Encounters tab, and the help center gives no number. Running out of votes means you have reached the daily limit. The votes refresh 24 hours after you reach it, and Badoo Premium offers unlimited votes in Encounters.

If you see a specific count quoted somewhere, treat it as a guess. Apps change figures like this, and the Encounters page in Badoo's help center states none.

What counts as a swipe

On Badoo a swipe is a tap. In Encounters you tap the heart to like someone or the cross to pass. Both are votes.

That matters because men often assume only the likes count. Passing someone is a vote too, so a day of fast, careless passing uses up your allowance as quickly as a day of liking. The limit is on the number of people you go through, not on the number you say yes to.

What happens when you reach the limit

Badoo shows that you have run out of votes. Nothing else shuts down. You can still use Chats, and your existing matches are still there.

Your allowance comes back 24 hours after you reach the limit. So if you run out at noon, expect it to return at noon the next day, not at midnight.

Undoing a swipe

Men ask about this because of the cross. Badoo Premium and Badoo Extra can undo only your most recent pass. They cannot take back a pass from five minutes ago, and they cannot take back a like.

So the rule is to look before you tap. Give each page a few seconds. A woman whose photos you rushed past is gone, and you will not find her again.

Why a limit is good for you

Think about what a swipe is for. It is not a score. It is a first step toward a conversation with a woman you would want to meet.

a dating coach teaches that online dating is a numbers game, but he is clear that men watch the wrong numbers. The count that matters is how many of your votes became matches, how many of those replied, and how many ended in a date. A man who swipes on everyone is working the top of that funnel and ignoring the rest.

coach also says that swiping yes on nearly everyone works against you, because the app treats it as a sign you are not selective. He says men he coached who stopped doing it, and swiped yes far less often, got better results. That is his experience, and you can check it in your own numbers.

How many to use

Since Badoo gives no number, choose your own. A good test is this: would you actually take her for a drink? If yes, vote yes. If you are unsure, pass.

Then notice your ratio. If you vote yes on a large share of the women you see, and your matches are mostly women you feel lukewarm about, you are voting on too many. If you vote yes on very few and still get matches, you have found a comfortable range.

Do not rush to the cap. Hitting it every day is not a goal. A man with ten careful votes and three real conversations is doing better than a man who burns through his allowance and talks to nobody.

When unlimited makes sense

Premium removes the daily cap. It is worth considering when you hit the limit most days, your votes turn into matches at a good rate, and your matches turn into dates. Then the cap is costing you chances.

It is not worth it if your matches are low or your conversations stall. More votes will not fix a first message that gets ignored.

A weekly check

Once a week, count how many women you voted yes on, how many matches you got, how many replied and how many turned into plans. If matches are the weak step, look at your photos. If replies are the weak step, look at your first message.

That single page of numbers tells you more about your results than any daily swipe count could.
