Badoo has a daily vote limit in the Encounters tab, the dating app's swipe screen, and when you run out of votes you have reached it for the day. The Encounters page in Badoo's help center gives no number, and apps change figures like this, so do not plan around one. What you can rely on is how it behaves: the limit refreshes 24 hours after you reach it, and Premium removes it.
Likes are really three different allowances
Men ask "how many likes" as if there were one count. On Badoo there are three separate things, and each works differently.
The first is votes in Encounters. That is the heart and the cross, and it is the one with a daily limit. The second is the daily crush, which is a way to tell one woman that you have a crush on her, and it comes with Badoo Premium and with Badoo Extra. The third is reach: Credits can buy Extra Shows, which put your page in front of more people in Encounters.
Keeping the three apart saves you from paying for the wrong thing.
The vote limit
The vote limit is the cap on how many people you can vote on in Encounters in a day. Because Badoo gives no number, any figure you see online is a guess or has gone out of date.
When you hit it, you can still use the rest of the app. Chats stays open, and your matches are still there. The limit refreshes 24 hours after you reach it, which means your day starts when you run out, not at midnight. Badoo Premium gives unlimited votes in Encounters if you would rather not wait.
The daily crush
A crush is a stronger signal than a heart. You use it on one woman, to say that you noticed her in particular. Because you get only one a day, it works best when you save it for the woman you most want to hear from.
Do not spend it on the first pretty face you see in the morning. Scroll a little, find the woman whose photos suggest the life you would enjoy sharing, and send it to her. A crush used on someone you actually like also gives you a better opener, because you already know what you noticed.
Extra Shows
Extra Shows are bought with Credits. They show your page to more people in Encounters. They add reach, not quality, so they only help a man whose photos already work. If your photos draw a steady stream of likes, more reach means more of them. If they do not, you will be shown to more women who pass.
Treat them as an experiment. Spend a small amount of Credits, count the matches over the next day, and compare that day with your usual one.
Which allowance is worth paying for
Match the problem to the tool. If you keep reaching the vote limit and your votes are turning into matches, Premium removes the cap. If you want to signal one woman in particular, the daily crush does that, and it comes with Premium or Extra, or you can buy a crush with Credits. If matches are low because few people see you, Extra Shows add reach, but only after your photos are working.
Do not buy reach to cover for weak photos. More women seeing a photo that makes them pass gives you more passes, not more matches.
Spending a limited day of swipes well
A limit rewards care. a dating coach warns that men who tap the heart on nearly everyone teach the app to treat them as less selective, and the result is fewer of the women they want. That is a reason to vote less, not more.
Pick a number you are comfortable with and stick to it. The right number is the one where most of your votes go to women you would genuinely take for a drink. If you hit the limit every day, the problem may be that you are voting on almost everyone.
Track what a day brings
My advice on every app is to test and count. Write down how many women you voted yes on, how many matches that produced, how many of those turned into conversations, and how many became plans. After a week, you will know whether your votes are working.
If the numbers are good and you keep running out, that is the moment Premium makes sense. If the numbers are poor, more votes only multiply a poor result. Fix your photos and your first message first, and the question of how many likes you get a day will matter much less.
