Why Did All My Matches Disappear on Hinge?

First, check your connection. The app needs a strong Wi-Fi or mobile data signal to pull your matches back down. If you are on weak café Wi-Fi, switch to mobile data. If your data signal is poor, find Wi-Fi.

Second, log out and log back in. Hinge says this forces a refresh, so the app asks its servers for your matches again. Before you log out, make sure you know how you sign in to your account. Being locked out would turn a small scare into a real problem.

Third, give it time. If you have a lot of matches, Hinge says they can take a while to come back.

If you have been on Hinge for months and never cleared out old chats, your list may be long. A long list takes longer to load. Leave the app open on a good connection for a few minutes, then check again before you start deleting things.
