Can You Still Log Into Hinge With Facebook?

No. Hinge's help page says that, because of an update from Meta, members can no longer log in with Facebook. You get in with your phone number, your Google account or your Apple ID instead, and once you are in, you can change how you sign in from Settings.

The change came from Meta's side. It is not a ban, and it is not something you did wrong. Nothing in Hinge's note says your account went anywhere. What changed is the door you used to walk through.

That matters for how you react. Men who tap the old button and get nowhere often assume the account is gone and start a brand new one. That is the expensive answer. Try the doors that still open before you decide anything.

Hinge lists three.

1. Your phone number. Hinge sends a code by text when you log in this way, and you type it in.
2. Your Google account.
3. Your Apple ID.

The phone number is the one to try first. Hinge's help pages say every member verifies a mobile number when the account is set up. So even a man who signed up through Facebook gave Hinge a number at some point. If that number is still on your phone, you are one text away from being back in.

If you also linked a Google account or an Apple ID along the way, either of those will work too.

This is the hard case. Hinge does not let members change the phone number tied to an account, and its support team cannot change it for you.

If you have lost that number and never linked Google or Apple, write to Hinge before you do anything drastic. Its support team is reached by email at hello@hinge.co, through the request form, or through the chatbot on its Help Center. There is no support phone line, and Hinge warns that the support numbers posted on other websites have nothing to do with it.

Where the old number really is lost, Hinge can delete the account tied to it so you can open a fresh one. Your first message to support should include the old number and a written line saying Hinge may delete that account.

Once you are inside the app, fix the thing that just caught you out.

Tap your Photo Icon, then the Gear Icon, and scroll down to Connected Accounts. Tap the toggle next to Google Account or Apple ID. When it turns purple, that account is linked. Linking Google only connects your login. It does not give Hinge your Gmail.
