What the Icks and Clicks Quiz Is on Hily

Icks & Clicks is Hily's compatibility quiz. You find it on your page, just under your photo. Once you have answered a handful of its questions, you can scroll down a woman's page in Finder and tap Measure compatibility. That button only shows up if she has taken the quiz too.

Go to My Profile and look under your photo. That is where the quiz lives.

It is a long list of questions, but you do not have to finish it before it becomes useful. Answer a small minimum and the compatibility check opens up for you. You can come back and answer more whenever you like.

1. Answer at least the minimum number of questions.
2. Open a woman's page in Finder and scroll down.
3. Tap Measure compatibility.

If you do not see the button, she has not taken the quiz. There is nothing to compare yet, and that tells you nothing about her either way. Not everyone takes it.

A compatibility check compares how the two of you answered. It can tell you that you see a few things the same way, or that you clearly do not.

What it cannot tell you is whether she will be attracted to you. That is the part that decides almost everything on a dating app, and no quiz measures it.

So treat the result as a talking point, not a verdict. A strong one gives you something easy to mention. A weak one is not a reason to pass on a woman you like the look of. The two of you might disagree on half the questions and still have a great evening.

For most men, yes, in small doses. Answering the minimum takes a few minutes, and it gives you one more angle on women who have done the same.

Just keep it in proportion. coach has been dating online for over twenty years, and his order of priorities is clear: photos first, then what you write, then your messages. If your matches are thin, the quiz will not fix that. If they are coming in, the quiz can hand you a better opener now and then.

The goal of any dating app is to get you on a date, not to prove you are compatible on paper.

So once the quiz has done its job and she is laughing along, move things forward. Suggest a drink sometime, swap numbers, and set the plan. The real compatibility test happens sitting next to her in a quiet bar, and that is the one worth passing.
