Bumble says a paid feature that has not shown up usually means one of two things: the purchase is still processing, or it did not go through. Check your purchase history in Google Play or the App Store to find out which. If you were charged and the feature is still missing from your account, contact Bumble Support and include a screenshot of your purchase receipt. None of this stops your normal swiping and messages in the meantime.

Check the store first

Your purchase history is the fastest answer. If you paid on Android, look in your Google Play purchase history. If you paid on an iPhone, look in your App Store purchase history. Find the Bumble purchase and see whether it is complete. Note the date and time of the purchase while you are there, because you will want it if you end up writing to Support.

If it is still pending, give it time. Bumble lists a purchase that is still processing as one of the main reasons a feature has not appeared yet.

When the payment did not go through

Bumble says transactions can fail for several reasons, including insufficient funds, bank restrictions or technical issues. If your purchase history shows the payment failed, nothing was bought, and the feature will not arrive on its own.

Sort out the cause with your bank or card first. Check that the card on your store account is the one you meant to use, then try once more. Do not buy the same thing three times in a row hoping one sticks. If it keeps failing, Bumble's Support team can look into it.

When you were charged and it is still missing

This is the case Support exists for. Bumble asks you to contact its Support team and include a screenshot of your purchase receipt.

If you bought through Google Play or the App Store, the receipt is sent to the email address linked to that store account. Search that inbox for it.

Send the receipt itself, not your bank statement. Bumble says it cannot accept screenshots of bank or card statements, because they do not show the exact item you bought.

What to send Support

Make it easy for them to help you in one go. Say which feature you bought, whether it was a subscription such as Premium or a pack such as Spotlights, and roughly when. Say whether you paid through Google Play, the App Store, or Bumble directly. Attach the screenshot of the purchase receipt.

Then make sure you are writing from the Bumble account you were logged into when you paid. Keep the message short and factual. A clear request with the receipt attached is the easiest kind to act on.

Make sure you are on the right account

Bumble says an active subscription works across devices, as long as you are logged into the same Bumble account. If you paid on one account and are looking at another, the feature will seem to be missing when it is sitting on the account that paid.

Moving a purchase to a different account is its own case. Bumble's page on restoring purchases says a subscription is linked to the account it was bought on. To move it to a different one, it asks you to contact Support with your receipt and transaction ID.

Keep going while you wait

A missing Spotlight or SuperSwipe is annoying, but it is not what decides your week. The free parts of the app keep working. You can still like women, match and talk.

Use the wait to fix something that costs nothing. The features you paid for change how many women see you. The things below change what they think when they do. Swap your lead photo for the clearest, best-lit shot of your face you have. Rewrite one written answer so it gives her something specific to reply to. Answer every match you already have, the same day. Chats on the apps die from gaps far more often than from bad lines. Those changes will matter more than the feature you are waiting on.

Once it arrives, use it on purpose

When the feature finally shows up, do not burn it in the same minute out of relief.

A Spotlight is worth most on an evening when you are home and free to answer the matches it brings. A SuperSwipe is worth most on a woman who gave you a real reason to send it. You paid for it, so spend it where it has the best chance of turning into a date.

If it was a subscription, check the renewal date while you are thinking about it. Bumble says plans renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that date. It is worth knowing when your first decision is due.
