Boo Infinity is Boo's premium subscription. Depending on your country, it may include unlimited Loves, free DMs, and a look at who viewed you or sent you love. It can also add free Super Loves every week, Ninja mode, read receipts, a country filter and unlimited Time Travel. Boo shows the price in the app, and it varies by location.
The full list
Here is what Infinity can include:
- Unlimited Loves.
- Free DMs.
- Seeing who viewed you.
- Seeing who sent you love.
- Free Super Loves each week.
- Ninja mode.
- Read receipts.
- A country filter.
- Unlimited Time Travel.
Ninja mode and Time Travel are Boo's own names for its features. Check the Infinity screen in the app for how each one works where you live, because that screen is the thing to trust.
Why it depends on your country
Boo is clear that the contents of Infinity can vary by country, and so can the price. So a friend in another country may be paying a different amount for a slightly different package.
Before you subscribe, open the Infinity screen in the app and read exactly what it offers you. Judge it on that list and that price, not on anything you read elsewhere, including here.
The features that change your results
Some of these extras can change how many dates you end up on.
Unlimited Loves. The free version gives you a daily supply of Loves. If you keep hitting that cap with women still left that you wanted to Love, this is the feature that pays for itself.
Seeing who sent you love. This is the lazy man's best friend, in a good way. a dating coach's favorite way to use the apps is passive. He sets up a strong account, then spends his time on the women who have already shown interest instead of working through the whole feed. On one app he set up an account, turned on a boost, and spent the first day only looking at the women who had matched with him. He did not swipe once.
The country filter. Useful if you are moving to or visiting another country. My habit before any move is to start chatting in the new city roughly two weeks early, so he never arrives to an empty calendar. A way to look at people where you are headed supports exactly that habit, provided you tell women plainly when you will be there.
The features that are nice to have
Seeing who viewed you. Interesting, but a view is not interest. A woman who looked and moved on has told you very little.
Read receipts. These show you when she has read your message. They can also tempt you into overthinking. If she has read it and not replied, send one light, playful follow-up later, and then leave it. A string of messages to a woman who is not answering looks needy and does not change her mind.
Free Super Loves. Handy, with one condition, covered below.
Is Infinity worth it?
My view on paying for dating apps runs against a common instinct. Many men learning to date refuse to pay for anything, and he thinks that holds them back. In his words, the apps care most about keeping the people who pay the bills.
He is equally firm that paying blindly is a mistake. His rule is to check that the free version already gets you a few matches. If it does, try Infinity for a month and compare. Keep it if your dates go up, and cancel it if they do not.
If you are getting no matches on the free version, Infinity is unlikely to save you. Fix the basics first. coach puts photos first, then what you write about yourself, then your first messages.
Pair every Super Love with a real message
coach is openly unconvinced that a Super Like on its own gets you many more matches. What does work for him is pairing a standout gesture with a message worth reading. On Hinge, he gets a big share of his matches by sending roses along with an interesting message. Roses sent without one do noticeably worse.
Treat Super Loves the same way. Save them for the women you most want to hear from, and make the words count. My advice is to write something about her that gives her something to react to. A playful guess about what her personality type says about her will do far more than "hey."
Infinity can widen the funnel. What you do with each woman who comes through it is still up to you.
