For most men, not on day one. Free Boo already gives you a daily set of compatible people, Love and Pass, and unlimited messages to people you match with. Boo Infinity is worth paying for in one situation. You are using the free version fully and running into its daily limit while there are still women you want to reach. You also have good photos and something real to say about yourself. If you are not hitting a limit, the subscription solves a problem you do not have.
What free already gives you
A free member gets Love, Pass and messaging with matches at no cost. The Match page shows a daily set of compatible profiles, and messages to your matches are unlimited.
Free members can also use coins to apply power-ups and send direct messages. Coins can be earned too, by taking part in the communities in the Boo universe.
So the question is never whether you can use Boo without paying. You can. The question is what a limit costs you.
What Infinity adds
Boo says the daily Loves reset after 24 hours, and Infinity removes that limit with unlimited daily souls. Depending on your country, it can also include these:
- Unlimited Loves.
- Free DMs, so you do not spend coins to write first.
- Seeing who viewed you or sent you love.
- Free Super Loves each week.
- Ninja mode.
- Read receipts.
- A country filter.
- Unlimited Time Travel, which lets you rewind to the last person you passed.
Boo ties its Spirit Realm return and its Teleport location feature to Infinity as well. Notice the words "depending on geography": the exact list can differ by country, so the screen inside the app is the one to trust.
The two features that matter most
Two of these change results for a man who is trying to get dates.
Unlimited Loves. a dating coach is blunt about this kind of upgrade. He says the ability to reach as many people as you want is worth paying for in almost every case. Choosing who you go after yourself takes your fate out of the app's hands. If you keep reaching the daily Love limit and still have women left that you wanted, this is the part that earns its cost.
Seeing who sent you love. My favorite way to use an app is passive. He builds a strong account, then spends his time on the women who have already shown interest instead of working through the whole feed. Knowing who sent you love gets you there faster, since the hardest part, finding out whether she likes you, is already done.
The one that works against you
Ninja mode hides your profile from recommendations, your message read status and your views. That is useful if you want privacy. It is the opposite of what you want if you are trying to be seen.
A man who turns on Ninja mode and then wonders why nobody responds has hidden himself on purpose. Leave it off unless you have a specific reason to stay out of sight.
Price and cancelling
Boo does not list one price. It says the price is shown in your profile and varies by location. So there is no honest number to quote here, and you should read the amount on your own screen before you agree.
Boo also cannot cancel subscriptions or issue refunds itself. Those are handled through the App Store or Google Play, wherever you paid. Know that before you subscribe, so you are not hunting through a settings menu on the day you want out.
How to decide in a week
coach tells men to be careful about the idea that paying is always a sign of weakness. He thinks that bias keeps many men from getting results, and he also says to test any paid feature rather than pay blindly.
Here is a test that follows from that. Use free Boo hard for a week or two. Write down how many Loves you send, how many people love you back and how many chats turn into a plan. If you hit the daily limit and the numbers look healthy, try Infinity for one billing period and compare. If the numbers do not change, cancel.
The thing paying cannot fix is a weak profile. More Loves sent with poor photos and an empty bio gives you more of the same result. Fix those first, then spend.
