How to Build a Top Dating Profile Over and Over Again

Most guys post photos they think look good. They don’t post photos women actually respond to, then they blame the app when nothing happens.

That’s normal enough. Most men have never studied what winning profiles look like, and plenty of them never bother to.

Set up a profile with photos of your ideal type of woman.

Then look at the profiles the app keeps behind a paywall.

Hinge is a good place to do this. Check the “Standouts” tab. That’s where you can see the profiles women have to pay to access.

Beautiful women can get over a thousand matches a month. If an app puts certain men behind a paywall, those men probably have top-tier profiles.

Study those profiles. Notice what the photos look like and how the men are presenting their value.

One thing you’ll probably see: the best profiles usually don’t use ultra-polished, studio-looking photos. That’s a common lie dating photographers sell.

A lot of the photos that actually work look like they were taken on an iPhone by a guy who knows how to catch a good moment. They feel real. The less staged they look, the more women tend to connect with them.

You can pull more data from Instagram too. Follow the money. Follow the fame. Look at how celebrities, influencers, gurus, and coaches present themselves.

People making millions off their personal brands think carefully about how they look online because they’re selling a lifestyle.

Those photos aren’t “validated” by dating apps the way top profiles are, but they’re still worth studying. There’s no mystery about what celebrities use Instagram for: they DM women and set up dates. That’s not a secret.
