Tinder lists no price for a week of Plus. Its help center confirms that weekly subscriptions exist alongside longer plans, but it gives no fixed price for any tier, and the amount you are charged is the one the app shows when you buy. Tinder's terms say pricing varies based on a number of factors, so your screen decides the number. Whether a one-week purchase is offered to you is also something to read on that screen.

What the help center confirms

The evidence for weekly plans is a small note in the help center. It says the monthly Boost is not available for weekly subscriptions. That sentence only makes sense if weekly subscriptions exist, so they do.

The help center does not go further and print a weekly Plus price. What it does say, in its terms, is that Tinder frequently offers promotional rates. They can vary by region, length of subscription, bundle size, past purchases and account activity. A friend's weekly price tells you what his account was shown, not what yours will be.

What a week of Plus gets you

Plus is the entry tier. It includes unlimited daily Likes, unlimited Rewinds and Passport Mode. It also hides advertisements and lets you go incognito.

Notice what is missing. Plus does not show you who already Likes You, and it adds no Boost and no weekly Super Likes. Those start at Gold. A week of Plus changes how the app behaves for you, not how many women are drawn to you.

When seven days of Plus makes sense

A short plan suits a short job. Two cases come up most often.

The first is a trip. Passport Mode lets you search by city or drop a pin on the map, so you can start conversations in the place you are going before you land. If you are traveling for a few days, a week of Plus covers the planning and the trip in one go.

The second is a few days of swiping without limits. Some men run out of Likes in the free app and feel held back. A week shows you whether the limit was really your problem.

Unlimited Likes is not a reason to like everyone

This is where men waste the plan. With no daily limit, the temptation is to swipe right on every card and sort it out later.

a dating coach's advice runs the other way. When he talks about how the apps behave, he says that swiping right on everyone makes the app read you as unselective. In his view, the app then has little reason to show you the women you actually want. His point is that being choosy is part of how the app learns your taste.

So use the extra room to look properly. Read each card, like the ones you would really want to meet, and pass on the rest without guilt. Unlimited Rewinds help here, since a swipe you did not mean to make can be taken back.

Keep the test honest

A week of anything is easy to judge by feel, and feel is unreliable. Write down matches, conversations that went past the first exchange, and dates agreed in the week before you pay.

Then keep the same record during the paid week. My rule is to test a paid feature cheaply and drop it if it makes no difference. He also warns that paid features multiply what you already get, so if your free account produces almost nothing, a week of Plus multiplies almost nothing.

Decide on the last day

Do not let the end of the week arrive without a plan. Look at your numbers on the day before it finishes and decide whether the plan earned a second week.

If you matched more, held more conversations and set up a date or two, keep it. If nothing changed, the problem is somewhere Plus cannot reach, usually the photos or the first message. Fix those for free and try again later.

What a week of Plus cannot do

It cannot make a quiet account busy. If women are not liking you back, unlimited Likes only lets you send more of them to the same result.

Plus also does not change what a woman sees when she opens your card. Her decision rests on your photos and what you wrote, and a tier does not touch either one. Spend an evening on those before you spend a week of Plus, and the week will have something real to multiply.

The short answer

Tinder prints no weekly price for Plus, and weekly plans exist. Check your own screen for the figure and for whether a one-week purchase is offered. Use the week for a trip or a short, careful push, and judge it by dates, not by how it felt.
