How Do You Check When Your Bumble Subscription Renews?

You check the renewal date wherever you bought the subscription. On an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and select Bumble. On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and select Bumble. If you paid Bumble directly by card, PayPal or Apple Pay, open the app, go to Profile and tap Subscription details. Knowing that date lets you decide about the next period on purpose, instead of after another round of swiping you paid for without meaning to.

Bumble's help page splits this by where you paid: you view your start and renewal dates through the same platform where you bought the plan.

On the Apple App Store, the Subscriptions screen in your phone's Settings shows your active plan, your start date and your renewal date. On Google Play, the Subscriptions section under Payments & subscriptions shows your subscription details and the next billing date. If you paid Bumble itself by credit card, PayPal or Apple Pay, the details are inside the app, under Subscription details.

Not sure which one you used? Check the Apple or Google list on your phone first. If Bumble is not there, look in the app.

Bumble says your subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. So the real deadline is the day before the date on that screen, not the date itself.

That is the whole reason to look it up. The plan keeps going on its own, and the only moment you get to decide is before that cutoff. Treat the date on the screen as the end of your decision window, not the start of it.

Put a reminder in your phone's calendar three or four days before the renewal date. Not on the day, and not the day before, because that leaves no slack if you are busy or travelling.

When you set it, write the renewal date and the last safe day to cancel into the reminder itself. That way you are not digging through settings again when it goes off.

The reminder is not there to make you cancel. It is there to make you decide, with a few days to look at how the plan has actually done.

When the reminder goes off, look at your results since you started paying, not at how the app feels.

It helps to keep a rough note along the way. A line a week is enough: how many matches, how many real conversations, any dates. Without it, your memory of the month gets shaped by the last few days, good or bad.

Are more women matching with you than before? Are more of those matches turning into actual conversations, where she writes more than a word or two? Has any of it turned into a drink or a coffee?

If the answer is yes, the plan is paying its way, and renewing is an easy call. If the numbers look the same as they did on the free version, the plan is not the part that needs attention. It is fair to let it lapse while you work on your photos and your first lines.

Cancel through the same place you paid. On Apple, go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and Bumble, and tap Cancel Subscription. On Google Play, open the Play Store, tap your icon, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions and Bumble, and tap Cancel Subscription. If you paid Bumble directly, open the app, tap the profile icon, select Subscription details, and then tap Manage your subscription.

Bumble says that after you cancel, you keep your paid perks until the end of your subscription date. So cancelling a few days early costs you nothing.

One trap is worth knowing. If you subscribed through the App Store, Bumble says deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. You still have to cancel it in the App Store.

The renewal date is not the only date on your plan. The weekly SuperSwipes and Spotlights that come with Boost, Premium and Premium+ expire and refill on the same day of the week you first bought the subscription. Unused ones do not carry over.

So there are two dates worth knowing. The weekly reset tells you when to use your extras before they vanish. The renewal date tells you when to decide whether to keep paying at all.

While you are on a plan, check the Pay plan page a day before each weekly reset. Any SuperSwipes or Spotlights still showing there are about to vanish. That is the moment to use them on a woman who gave you a real reason, or on an evening when you are home to answer what comes in.
