If you are searching for a dating bootcamp near you to learn approaching women in person, here is the plain answer. Cold Approach runs its Bootcamp in two cities, Miami and New York, and nowhere else. Men who live in other places travel in for it. If neither city is close to you, the question becomes which one to travel to, and when. This article covers how men make that choice and what to do at home while you plan.

Why only two cities

A bootcamp is coaching in the field, with a coach beside you approaching women in real places. That needs coaches who know the streets, the cafes, the bars and the lounges, and it needs enough foot traffic that you get many chances in a few days. Two cities done well beats a long list done thinly.

The point is also practical. Each training day is two four-hour blocks, and the Group Bootcamp runs three consecutive days, 24 hours in all, at no more than three students per coach. The coaching only works if the coach has time for each man's approaches.

Choosing between the two

If you can reach both easily, pick on how you want to practice. New York gives you a lot of strangers on foot at every hour of the day, and its subway runs around the clock. Miami is a warm city built around going out, with a beach by day and busy nightlife after dark, and it is spread out, so you choose an area rather than cover it all on foot.

If one is much cheaper or faster to reach, that can settle it. A trip that is short and affordable beats a theoretically better city that you dread getting to.

Group or Private when you are traveling

Scheduled Group weekends are published for Miami, running Friday to Sunday. In New York, Group is available on request and the Private Bootcamp is arranged with you after booking. Private is fully one-on-one and runs one, two or three days, with longer programs quoted on request.

For a man traveling in, Private has one real advantage: you can choose fewer days and shorten the trip. Group has its own advantage in being a set weekend that is easy to plan flights around. Weigh both against your calendar.

Planning the trip

Treat the trip like any other travel plan. Look at flights early, book a place to sleep for each training night, and leave a buffer so you arrive rested. Approaching women for eight hours a day is tiring, and a late red-eye the night before makes the first day harder.

If your plans change, a Bootcamp can be moved a single time to a later date if you tell us early enough, so book travel you can change.

Before the days begin there is a free 15-minute Bootcamp Kickoff Call, where you can ask questions and settle details.

What to do while you wait

You do not have to sit still until the trip. Three things help.

Start approaching at home. Pick the lowest-stakes version you can manage: a quick hello and one question to a person at a cafe counter or in a shop. You are not trying to meet someone. You are getting used to speaking first.

Count your hesitations. For a week, notice each time you wanted to say something to a stranger and did not. The count tends to shock men, and it shows you the exact habit the coaching will target.

Write down your goal. Be specific about what you want to leave with, such as starting conversations without a long wind-up. A clear goal makes the coaching more useful.

Is the trip worth it

Some men find that traveling in helps. They are away from home, nobody they know is watching, and they can focus for three days. Others dislike the cost and the disruption. Both are fair reactions.

The test is simple. If you know the skill is what you are missing and the trip is affordable, go. If the cost would strain you, wait until it does not. Practicing the small version at home in the meantime keeps you from losing time.

After you get home

No follow-up call is included after the program, so the reps afterward are yours. You leave with a short written practice plan that says what is working and where to focus, and you keep access to the community Slack. Use the plan in your own city, starting the week you return.
