Raya does not make a Mac version. Its App Store listing is labeled "Only for iPhone" and requires iOS 17.0 or later. So a Mac is the wrong device for the app, and there is nothing to fix on the computer. The place to use Raya is an iPhone, and to apply you can use the app or Raya's website.
What the listing says
The listing states that Raya needs iOS 17.0 or later. It also says it requires visionOS 1.0 or later for Apple Vision. It does not mention a Mac version anywhere.
That means no setting or update on your Mac will turn the app on. A man who spends an evening searching for a fix on a computer is solving a problem that is not there.
Where you can apply from
Raya is by application only, and you can start one in two ways. One is inside the app on a phone. The other is Raya's web application on its own site, where the first step is verifying your phone number.
A Mac can open a website, so the web route is available to you even though the app is not. The form asks for details such as your name, email, birth date and Instagram username, and the answers matter more than the device that sends them.
When "not working" is really "not accepted yet"
Here is the other possibility. The listing says membership is available only by application. A person without an accepted application cannot use the app, even on a phone that supports it.
If you applied and are waiting, the app may be working correctly. It is doing what it does for people who are not members yet.
Raya says its global committee reviews applications on an ongoing basis, and that review can take anywhere from days to months. Staring at the app will not move that along. Keep the phone number you applied with active, and watch the text and email you gave Raya, because that is where the decision will arrive.
Behavior can end an account too
One more thing that looks like a fault is a suspension. Raya's listing says an account may be suspended or terminated for behavior that does not reflect its community guidelines.
If you were an accepted member and the app stopped letting you in, that is a possible reason. It is a question for Raya, not a problem with your computer or your phone.
How to use the waiting time
If you are waiting, use the time. The application includes your Instagram, and the same public pages are what a woman sees when she looks you up.
Clean up your Instagram. Choose photos that show your face and your life in daylight. Think about what you would want to say in a short description of yourself, so you are ready if the acceptance comes.
Apply with the phone you will use afterward. A phone running iOS 17 or later is the thing you need, and a computer will not do.
Using the Mac for what it is good at
A computer is a better tool than a phone for the preparation. Lay your photos out side by side and cut the set down to the ones that are clear, recent and taken in daylight. Reread your Instagram from top to bottom the way a stranger would. Write your short description in a document, read it aloud, and cut anything you would not say to a person across a table.
All of that makes the application stronger, and none of it needs the app to run on the Mac.
Do not wait around for a private app
While you wait, put your effort into apps that are open to you now. The skills carry over: clear photos, an honest profile, and a short specific first message work on Hinge and Bumble as much as on Raya.
A man who uses that time to get good at the basics will be ahead if the Raya acceptance comes, and ahead if it does not.
