Standouts does not appear in your main Discover feed, which is why men think it is missing. It lives behind the star icon on the navigation bar, and Hinge says every user has access to it. If it is empty or will not load, you are either between batches, your preferences are narrow, or the app needs a basic reset.

Where Standouts actually is

Look at the navigation bar and tap the star icon. That opens the Standouts feed.

Hinge describes Standouts as a feed of the profiles catching the most attention on the app, tailored to your preferences and your recent activity. It is a different screen from Discover, so scrolling Discover all night will never show it.

All Hinge users have access to it. It is not a paid feature and not something you have to earn.

Standouts refreshes in batches

Hinge shows a fresh batch of Standouts daily. Inside the feed, a Next Refresh note tells you how long you have to interact with a profile before the page refreshes and different profiles appear.

That means an empty or short feed can simply be the gap between batches. Come back later in the day or the next day instead of tapping around and reinstalling.

It also means the clock matters. If a woman in Standouts is worth a Rose, use it before the refresh. Once the page turns over, she is gone from that screen.

Why your batch can look thin

Standouts only shows profiles that still meet your preferences. If you have set a narrow age range, a short distance and a long list of requirements, there are fewer women who clear all of it, and the feed shrinks with them.

Loosen one setting a little and look again. Hinge's own page does not promise a particular number in any batch, so treat a short batch as a hint about your filters and not as a verdict on you.

Standouts is not the same as HingeX's early matching

Some men expect Standouts and then look for a feature the app does not call Standouts. Hinge says Standouts is a different thing from HingeX's See Compatible People Sooner, which works behind the scenes to bring likely matches to the top of Discover.

One is a visible feed behind a star. The other is quiet reordering inside Discover, and you will never see a screen for it. If you pay for HingeX and still cannot find a Standouts tab, you are looking for the wrong thing.

You can only send Roses there

In Standouts you can only send Roses, not regular Likes. A man who opens it and cannot find a Like button may decide the screen is broken, when it is working as built.

If you have used your free Rose for the week, you can still look at the feed, but you cannot act on a woman without buying another. That is a reason the feed can feel like it is not doing anything.

If it will not load at all

Treat it as a technical issue. Hinge's basic steps are to check your connection, log out and back in, and then uninstall and reinstall the app.

Start with the connection. A weak signal is the usual cause, and a blank feed on a bad connection looks the same as an empty one. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to find out.

Do not build your plan on one screen

Standouts is one door among several. a dating coach's advice for the apps is to fill the top of the funnel first: more women seeing and liking you means more practice at conversation and more chances at a date.

So do not wait on a daily batch. Use Discover, use Likes You, and spend your free Rose on one woman a week whose page gives you something specific to write to. A man who relies on a single feed has handed his results to the app's schedule.

The short answer

Tap the star icon on the navigation bar. A fresh batch appears daily, it only shows profiles that still meet your preferences, and you can only send Roses there. If it will not load, check your connection, log out and in, and reinstall as a last step.

Then get on with the rest of the app. A short Standouts feed is not a problem you need to solve.
