Premium+ is the highest of Bumble's three subscription plans. It includes everything in Premium, then adds photo insights that show which of your photos people love most. Your likes are fast-tracked so people see you sooner, and you get daily priority in people's feeds. You also get a weekly allowance of Notes, plus more SuperSwipes and Spotlights each week than the lower plans.
What it adds, one by one
Photo insights. Bumble describes these as exclusive insights that show you which of your photos people love most.
Fast-tracked likes. When you like someone, Bumble says it makes sure they see you sooner.
Daily priority. Bumble says it prioritizes you in people's feeds every day.
Weekly Notes. A Note, which Bumble used to call a Compliment, lets you send a short message to someone before you match, based on something that caught your eye on her page. Premium+ includes a weekly allowance of them.
More SuperSwipes and Spotlights. Premium+ comes with a larger weekly allowance of both than Boost or Premium.
Underneath all of that sits the whole Premium plan: the Liked You queue, advanced filters, Incognito Mode, Travel Mode, and everything from Boost.
Photo insights are the part worth having
Most of Premium+ is about exposure. The photo insights are different, because they tell you something you can act on.
Your photos decide more of your results than anything else you control. A woman decides quickly, mostly on the first image, and nothing you write matters until she has made that call. Most men choose their lead photo by instinct, and instinct is a poor judge of your own face.
So use the insights for one job: ordering the set. Put the photo people respond to most in first place. Move the weakest to the back, or drop it. Then give the new order a couple of weeks before judging it, because a quiet Tuesday and a busy weekend are not a fair comparison.
If you do not want to pay for this, there is a free version of the same test. Show your photos to a few people who do not know you well, ideally women, and ask which one they would stop on. It is slower and less precise, but it points the same way.
Priority and fast-tracked likes are exposure
These two put you in front of more women, sooner. That is useful, and it has a limit.
Exposure multiplies whatever your set of photos already does. If a fair share of the women who see you like you back, being seen by more of them means more matches. If very few do, it means being passed over by a larger crowd. Priority in the feed cannot make a weak first photo stronger. It can only bring the decision forward.
That is why the order matters. Fix the lead photo first, which the insights help with, and then the extra exposure has something worth multiplying.
Notes and extra SuperSwipes
Both of these tell a woman you picked her on purpose. They work well in a narrow case and poorly as a habit.
A Note is at its best when you have a specific thing to say. She wrote an opinion you can push back on, or one of her photos names a place you know. Say that, in a line or two, and the Note does its job: it shows you actually looked.
A Note that says "you're gorgeous" or a SuperSwipe followed by "hey" does the opposite. The signal promised interest in her in particular, and the message has nothing particular in it. A larger weekly allowance does not change that. Spend them where you can name the reason, and let the rest go unused.
Who Premium+ is for
It makes the most sense for a man whose results already work and who wants more of them. His matches convert to conversations, his conversations turn into dates, and the only thing he wants is more volume and faster feedback on his photos.
It also suits a man who is about to rebuild his photo set and wants real data on which new photo to lead with.
Who should skip it
If you are getting very few matches, Premium+ will mostly show you more people passing. Start with the photos, using the free test above, before you pay for any plan.
If you get matches but the conversations die after two or three messages, no plan will help. That is a messaging problem, and it lives in what you send, not in how many women see you. Fix the first line and the ask before you spend money on reach.
