Tinder does not publish a separate price list for the UK, and its help center lists no fixed price for Gold anywhere. What the app does is show each man the price for his own region at the moment he buys. Tinder's terms say pricing varies based on a number of factors. They add that promotional rates vary by region, length of subscription, bundle size, past purchases and account activity. So the figure that matters to a man in the UK is the one on his own screen.
Why a UK figure is not an American one
Most of the Tinder prices you find in search results come from a forum post or an article written about another country. A man in the UK who reads one of those is comparing his own situation with somebody else's.
Tinder describes itself as a global business whose pricing varies. Region is the first factor in its list of promotional differences, so a man in Manchester and a man in Miami should not expect the same figure for the same tier.
The other factors apply wherever you live. The length of the plan matters. So do past purchases and how your account has been used. Two UK men can see different amounts on the same day.
How to see your own price
You do not need to guess. Open the Tinder app, tap the profile icon, go to Settings and choose Tinder Gold. The screen shows the price for your region and the plan lengths you can pick from.
Take a screenshot before you confirm if you like. It gives you a record of what you agreed to, and Tinder says the subscription renews at the price and for the time period you accepted when you subscribed.
What Gold gives you
The price only matters next to what it buys. Tinder Gold includes everything in Tinder Plus, and adds weekly Super Likes, one Boost per month and See Who Likes You. That last feature lets you see the women who have already liked you before you decide.
Plus covers unlimited daily Likes and unlimited Rewinds. It also has Passport Mode, hides the ads and lets you go incognito. So a Gold subscription is the Plus features together with those three additions.

A few details change what a UK man ends up paying and getting.
- The plan length. The terms say length of subscription affects the price, and the renewal keeps the length you chose.
- The Boost. Tinder says the monthly Boost is not available on weekly subscriptions, and some Gold subscribers on longer plans may not receive one because of testing.
- The renewal line. Gold renews automatically until you cancel, so read what it says about the next charge before you confirm.
How you pay in the UK
Tinder says it accepts most credit and debit cards and PayPal, with Venmo on web only, and that the payment options depend on location and device. So the choices on your screen may differ from what a friend in another country sees.
Where you pay also decides where you cancel, because each place can only cancel what it billed. If you subscribe through your iPhone, cancel through Apple. If you subscribe through Google Play, cancel there. If you subscribe on tinder.com, cancel on tinder.com.
Is the UK price worth paying
A price becomes cheap or expensive depending on what your account does with Gold. a dating coach calls paid features multipliers. They make whatever you already get larger. If your free account gets matches and replies, Gold can multiply something real. If your free account gets almost nothing, you are multiplying zero.
His advice is to test a paid feature and drop it if it makes no real difference. For Gold, the clean version looks like this.
- Count your matches and replies on the free app over a couple of weeks.
- Buy the shortest plan that fits and use See Who Likes You to start conversations with women who already like you.
- Count the same things over the same stretch.
- Cancel before the renewal if the numbers did not move enough to matter.
What no price will fix
Gold shows you who liked you. It does not write your first message, and it does not make a woman reply to a dull one. If your matches go quiet after your opening line, or your lead picture gets passed over, the cheaper fix is in those two places, not in a higher tier.
Check your own price, run the short test, and let your results decide whether Gold stays.
