No. Nobody is screened or ranked by height on a Cold Approach Bootcamp, and a shorter man gets the same coaching as a taller one. In the field, height is one of many things a woman notices in the first few seconds. It is not the thing that decides whether the conversation goes well. A shorter man who approaches with calm, genuine interest will do better than a taller man who hesitates.

That does not mean height is irrelevant to women. It means it is a smaller factor than most worried men believe, and it is not a reason to stay home.

Why men worry about this

A shorter man pictures himself standing beside a taller woman and assumes the conversation is over before it starts. He decides women will judge him on a number and skips the approach.

The skip is the real cost. An approach never made cannot go well. Men who stay home because of height give up the chance to show a woman the part of them that is not measurable.

a dating coach hears this from his own students. He says men tell him they are a certain height and ask whether they can meet tall women, or any women, at all. His answer is that the key is not to be insecure about it.

The honest picture

Be straight about it. Being dramatically short will be a turn-off for some women. a dating coach says so himself, while also saying that height matters less than most men think. Both are true.

His own account is useful. a dating coach describes himself as average height or a little below, and he tells a story about a tall woman. As the bar was closing, she hesitated to stand up because she did not want to look taller than him. She liked him enough that her height was her worry, not his. That is one story, not a statistic, but it shows how attraction in person can override a number.

Why in-person approach can be fairer to a shorter man

On a dating app, height is a line of text or a filter, and a shorter man can be removed before anyone meets him.

In person, a woman meets the whole man. She hears his voice, sees how he moves and reacts to how he treats her in the first minute. a dating coach points out that in live approach you have the chance to let your game outweigh your appearance, because you can show personality through your mannerisms, eye contact and tone.

That is a real advantage for a man who is worried about a number on a profile.

What a coach works on instead

The training is built around four areas: approaching and conversation, attraction and delivery, numbers and dates, and handling rejection. Height touches none of them directly. What the coach looks at is what you can change.

  • Posture. Standing tall and open reads very differently from slouching, and it changes how tall you look.
  • Eye contact and voice. A steady look and a calm voice create presence that does not depend on inches.
  • Genuine interest. A woman responds to feeling noticed.
  • The walk-over. A confident, unhurried approach tells her something before you speak.

A coach standing nearby can see exactly what your body is saying, which you cannot see from the inside.

What not to do

  • Do not lead with your height. Do not joke about it or apologize for it in the first minute. That makes it the topic.
  • Do not overcompensate. Trying to be louder, bigger or more aggressive reads as insecurity.
  • Do not audition. If a woman is not interested, that is information and not an insult. Move on.
  • Do not lie about it. Someone who has to be told your real height later learns something about your honesty.

What a dating coach says to a man who cannot let it go

He tells men to accept what they look like and play from there, whatever it is: height, a receding hairline or anything else. His version is to find the minimum level of self-acceptance you can live with and then act. The approach practice is what turns acceptance into confidence, because each conversation shows you that most women respond to how you carry yourself.

Group or Private for a shorter man

Both work. Group suits a man who feels better when other men are working on their own issues beside him. Private suits a man who would rather avoid any comparison and put every minute on his own approaches. Group has at most three students per coach, and Private is 1-on-1.

What decides it

Height does not decide whether a Bootcamp helps you. It does not appear in the curriculum, and a coach does not treat you differently for it. What decides the outcome is whether you walk up, how you hold yourself and what happens in the conversation.
