Not through anything Jaumo describes. Its help center walks through creating an account only inside the app, which you download from the App Store, Google Play or Huawei AppGallery. Its website home page offers download buttons for the App Store and Google Play. Jaumo describes no browser sign-up or browser login.

How sign-up works

Download the app, then tap Sign up. If you would rather use an existing account, tap Sign up with Google or Sign up with Apple. Choose the method you will still control in a year. An email sign-up is just as good, as long as you can always open that inbox.

The last step is adding a profile picture that clearly shows your face. Jaumo asks for that, and it is the first thing a woman sees, so treat it as the main event rather than a formality.

How a password reset starts

The reset also begins in the app. Open the app, go to the login screen, tap the settings icon, select Forgot Password and enter your email address.

That means a man who has deleted the app needs to reinstall it before he can recover anything. If you have switched phones, install the app on the new one first, then start the reset.

Keep access to the email you signed up with

Jaumo says you need access to the email address you signed up with to recover an account. It also says it cannot give you access otherwise, for security reasons.

That is a hard rule worth planning around. If you signed up with an email you no longer use, or one that belongs to an old job or school, fix that before you lose the phone, not after.

If you signed up with Google or Apple, the same thinking applies. Keep that login working.

Be careful with web logins offered elsewhere

Because Jaumo's own pages point you to the app, treat any other site that offers a Jaumo login from a browser as a risk. A page asking for your Jaumo email and password that is not Jaumo's own can take your account along with it.

Use the app from the official store listings, and nowhere else. Nothing about meeting women is worth handing a stranger the keys to your account.

What it means for how you use it

An app that lives on your phone suits short sessions. That fits how the apps work well anyway. a dating coach's point about online dating is that you get better results by treating it as a numbers game with a front end and a back end. At the front, more women see you. At the back, more of those turn into conversations and dates.

So use the app in short, regular check-ins. Answer the messages you have, send a few new ones, and close it. A woman who writes to you on Tuesday and hears back on Sunday has often moved on, so ten minutes a day tends to beat one long weekly session.

Make the photo count

Jaumo asks for a picture that clearly shows your face, and that is the right instinct. My view is that photos win attention and your words tell her what you are like once you have it.

Use a clear, recent photo in good light with only you in it. Add a few that show you doing something. Then write a couple of lines that give a woman an easy way to start a conversation. Something you do on weekends works, because she can ask about it. Once she writes, answer the same day and keep your reply short.

If the app is not an option for you

If you cannot or will not use a phone app, Jaumo is the wrong place to start. Pick a dating app that suits how you want to use it, and spend your effort there.

Do not try to find a workaround. Nothing Jaumo publishes supports one, and the sites that claim to are the ones that put your account at risk.

The short answer

Jaumo's pages describe creating and recovering an account only through the app. Download it from the App Store, Google Play or Huawei AppGallery, sign up, add a clear face photo, and keep access to the email you signed up with. If you want to use it from a browser, nothing on Jaumo's own pages says you can.
