Yes. Tinder's Terms of Use state that if you live in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, local law entitles you to a full refund during the 14 days after your subscription begins. The 14 days start when the subscription starts. They do not start when you notice the charge, so the window can be shorter than it feels.
Who the window covers
The right belongs to subscribers who live in the European Union, the wider European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland. Tinder ties it to local law, which is why it applies there and not everywhere.
Outside Europe the rules are different. Tinder's Terms carry separate refund wording for Korea, for Israel and for a list of US states, and some of those set a much shorter window. If you live outside Europe, read the part of the Terms written for where you live rather than assuming the 14 days apply to you.
When the 14 days start
The clock starts on the day your subscription starts. That sounds obvious, but it catches men out.
A man buys a plan on a Saturday night, forgets about it, and sees the charge on his statement a fortnight later. By then the window has closed. Nothing about the refund depends on when he noticed.
If you have just bought a plan and you are not sure about it, put the start date in your calendar. Add a reminder a few days before the 14 days run out. It takes a minute, and it keeps the decision in your hands instead of the calendar's.
Who handles the request
Where you bought the plan decides who processes the refund, even with the 14-day right behind you.
Bought through Apple. Tinder says Apple handles all refunds and cancellations for purchases made through the App Store. Start at Apple Support.
Bought through Google Play. Google handles them for Play Store purchases, and its support page gives the steps for your region.
Bought from Tinder directly. For an order number starting with TNDR, paid by card or PayPal, contact Tinder from the email address you bought with and include the order number.
Whichever route it is, say plainly that you live in the UK or the EU and that you are asking within 14 days of the subscription starting. Then cancel the plan with the same company, so nothing renews behind the refund.
Subscriptions, not add-ons
The 14-day wording in Tinder's Terms is written about subscriptions. Boosts and Super Likes sit under a different part of the Terms, which calls them virtual items and describes every purchase of them as final and non-refundable.
So do not assume the subscription window stretches to cover a Boost you bought last week. If you are unsure, spend a Boost you already own before buying another, and keep your trial of paid Tinder to the subscription itself.
Use the two weeks as a test
The window gives you something most men never get from a dating app: a fair trial with a way out. Use it properly.
Before the plan starts, write down two numbers from your last two free weeks. The first is new matches. The second is conversations that went past the first few messages. Then use the paid plan every day of the fourteen, in the same way you used the app before.
Keep everything else the same. a dating coach's approach to testing online dating is to isolate one thing at a time, so you can see what actually caused a change. If you swap your first photo in the same week you start paying, you will never know which one did the work.
a dating coach is also clear that refusing to pay on principle is a mistake. His rule is to test a paid feature, keep it if it makes a significant difference, and drop it if it does not. Fourteen days with a full refund available is as clean a version of that test as you will get.
Decide before day 14
At the end, compare your two numbers with the paid fortnight.
If both are clearly better, keep the plan. If they are about the same, ask for the refund, cancel, and put your effort into your first photo and your opening message instead. Those are free to change, and they decide what women do when they see you.
Leave the decision past the 14 days and the refund option is gone, even though cancelling is still open to you. The window only helps the man who uses it on purpose.
