Yes, as long as you subscribe. Hinge+ and HingeX members can tap the Signals filter at the top of the Discover feed, and Hinge will put women with an active Signals badge first. It is always a soft filter, so women without the badge can still turn up. Subscribers can also see which of their incoming likes come from women who have the badge.
What the filter does
The Signals filter sits with the other quick filters above your Discover feed. Tap it and the order of the feed changes, so the women carrying the badge come up before everyone else.
Signals is the badge Hinge gives daters whose recent activity shows they take part properly. They read a page before they like it, they answer the people who write to them, and they follow through to actual dates. Filtering on it is a way of telling the app you would rather spend your evening on women who behave like that.
On the free version you will not find the filter at all. It is one of the things the subscription pays for.
Why soft is the right setting
Hinge is clear that the Signals filter only prioritizes. It never becomes strict. Switch it on and you will still see some women with no badge, further down the feed.
That can feel like the filter is not doing its job. It is actually protecting you. The badge comes and goes with a woman's recent activity, so it describes her last few weeks, not her. A woman who was slammed at work last month, or who has not been on the app long, can be exactly the woman you want to take out and still have no badge today. A strict filter would hide her from you completely. The soft one just moves her back a few places.
So never skip a woman only because the badge is missing. Read her page the way you would read anyone's.
Seeing the badge on women who already liked you
The filter is only half of what subscribers get. In your Likes You list, Hinge also shows which incoming likes come from women with an active badge.
This helps most when the list is long and your time is short. A like from a woman with the badge comes from someone who, by Hinge's measure, tends to reply and tends to see things through. If you only have ten minutes before dinner, start with those likes and work down.
When the filter is worth switching on
The filter earns its place when your problem is wasted effort. Say your likes do turn into matches, but half the chats die after two lines and plenty of women go quiet before a date is set. You are losing hours to women who were never very engaged. Putting badge holders first tilts your feed toward women who are more likely to write back.
It helps much less when almost nobody likes you back in the first place. A soft filter changes the order of the women you see. It does nothing about what they see when they open your page. If women keep passing on you, the fix is your first photo and your written answers, not your feed settings.
What the badge cannot tell you
A badge measures how someone uses an app. It says nothing about her sense of humor, her values, or whether the two of you would get on across a table on a Thursday night.
Treat it as one small piece of information, like the Active Today label. It can help you decide who to like first. It cannot decide who is worth liking.
a dating coach makes a point about dating apps that fits here. The point of being on them is not to single out one special woman and pour everything into her. It is to keep a steady supply of women you are talking to, so that no single match carries all your hopes. A filter that helps you do that is worth using. A filter you lean on to find the one perfect woman just means you see fewer people.
Earn the reply either way
Badge or no badge, the same habits get you answers. Read her whole page before you like it. Add a comment about one specific thing she wrote or showed, so she has something easy to answer. When she replies, be good company: tease her a little, and drop in a detail or two about your own week so she starts to picture you.
Then steer toward a date before the chat runs out of steam. My approach is to hint at meeting up early in the conversation, so that when you finally suggest a place and a time, it does not come out of nowhere. Do that every time and something useful happens. You become one of the men whose likes she answers, whatever badge either of you is wearing.
