Feeld says you can download it in most countries and territories where the App Store and Google Play are available. The exceptions are countries where it has removed the app. They include China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Pakistan, the Philippines, Iran, Iraq and Venezuela, and Feeld's list has others.

The countries where it is not available

Feeld publishes a help page called Countries where Feeld is NOT available. The countries named above come from it, and the page lists more.

Feeld says it no longer accepts new registrations from those countries. Existing accounts there are set to inactive, and an account that stays inactive for one year is deleted along with its data.

If you are going to one of them, check the page before the trip, not at the airport. An account you have built will go quiet while you are there, and you cannot start a new one from inside.

Why Feeld left

Feeld says it removed the app from those countries for two reasons. One is national laws that criminalize certain consensual sexual activities or restrict LGBTQIA+ identity and expression. The other is data regulations that can compromise privacy and safety.

That is Feeld's own explanation, and it is a safety decision. It is not something to try to get around. Stay within what the app allows in the place you are in.

Languages

Feeld is available in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish. If your phone is set to another language, the app will not translate itself, and you will read the menus in one of those five.

That does not limit who you can talk to. It only decides how the app speaks to you.

It is not the same as having people near you

Being available in a country is not the same as having plenty of active members in your town. Feeld does not publish a list of cities, and the number of people you will see depends on where you live.

You find out in the app. Open Discover with your location set to where you actually are, and see how many women appear within a sensible distance.

If the feed runs out quickly, you are probably in a smaller place. Feeld lists ways to see more people. Widen your distance, your age range, or the genders and couple combinations you are looking at. Turn off the desires or recently online filters. Or switch to a popular or virtual location.

Widening your distance has a cost

A bigger radius gives you a longer feed, and it also gives you women who live a long way away.

a dating coach has a story about a great date that never got a second one, because the two of them lived too far apart and life got in the way. That is the cost of a wide radius in a small town. Every connection with someone out of reach takes time from a woman you could actually see this week.

Widen the distance one step at a time. Stop at the point where you would genuinely travel for a first date.

Fewer people means every message matters more

In a place with fewer members, each woman you reach is a larger share of your chances. You cannot count on a second showing, and you cannot afford to waste a like on a woman you do not want.

So the work moves to what she sees first. Your lead photo should show your face clearly, in daylight, with nobody else in the frame. What you wrote should give her one specific thing to ask about. When the pool is small, that is the cheapest way to lift your results.

My advice on pace is to fill the funnel in a burst, work the people who came back, and let it rest for a few days before you push again. In a small town that rest is useful, because it gives new members time to join and old ones time to see you.

Moving or traveling

If you are moving to a new city, or visiting one, let the app catch up to your location before you start liking. Then be open about it on your page. A woman who knows you are in town next week can plan around it.
