You do not change it by hand. Hily reads your phone's location data and places you near the closest city or town. It updates that automatically as you move, which is why the app needs location access. Hily's approach is simple. Your phone knows where you are, so the app uses that instead of asking you.

Most of the time this works in your favor. The women in your Finder are near the closest city or town to you, and when you travel, the app follows along without being told. Land somewhere else, open Hily, and the faces change with you.

If your location looks wrong, check that Hily still has location access in your phone's settings. Without it, the app cannot work out where you are, and it has nothing fresh to update from.

When you want to see people somewhere you have not reached yet, Hily's answer is Global Search. It sits in the Finder filters, and it comes with Hily Premium, so you need the subscription to use it.

Your real location stays exactly where it is. Global Search does not move you. It lets you look at people in a different city while your phone keeps telling Hily the truth about where you are standing.

That difference matters. Hily built location around your phone on purpose, and Global Search is the honest way to look further afield. Use it for that, and do not try to trick the app into thinking you are somewhere you are not.

There are plenty of honest reasons to want another city in front of you.
