You cannot. Hinge's help center describes no feature for sending a link to your profile to a friend or to a woman you know, and the app has no search, so nobody can find you from a name. The one link Hinge builds is Friend's Take, and that is a link for a friend to write about you, not a link to your page.

What Hinge does not offer

Plenty of apps let you copy a link to a person's page. Hinge does not describe anything like that.

There is no share button on your profile that produces an address you can paste into a text. There is also no way for a friend to type your name into a box and pull you up. Hinge says it has no search option for finding specific people, which means the only way she sees your page is if the app puts it in front of her.

That surprises men who want to show a coworker or a woman from a party what they look like on the app. The honest answer is that the app was built so you cannot do it directly.

Why it works this way

Hinge shows people a feed of daters chosen for them. It does not let a stranger look up a specific man, and it does not let a specific man hand out his own page.

For you, this has one useful side. Nobody can look you up from your name, so a man who knew your name could not find you either. If you ever want a woman to see your page, you cannot count on a link, and you have to plan around that.

What screenshots can and cannot do

Hinge blocks screenshots and screen recordings of Discover, Standouts, Likes You and any other dater's profile in the regions where screenshot blocking applies. It does not block screenshots of your own profile or of chats.

Hinge's page on the topic says your own profile is your information to save or share. So the practical way to show a friend your page is a screenshot of your own profile.

Two rules keep that from backfiring. Send it only to people you trust, because a screenshot can be forwarded. And never use it to show off another dater's page, because the app blocks that in many places and she did not agree to be shared.

Friend's Take lets friends or family write a take about you. You send them a link, and they fill it in.

The link works for a short time or until it has received a limited number of submissions, and anyone who holds it can submit. So it should go only to people you trust.

It is easy to misuse. Men send it to five friends and get five lines like "great guy, super loyal." A woman reads that and learns nothing, because nobody writes "disloyal and dull." a dating coach's rule for a profile is that every line should convey one specific thing about you. Ask your friends the same: tell them to describe one real scene, such as what you do when a plan falls apart or how you treat a waiter.

What to do when you want a specific woman to see you

You will not get her to open your page from a link, so move the conversation to somewhere that works.

If you are already talking, a text or a short call does more than a page. a dating coach's advice on the apps is to speak on the phone before the date, because a call shows what no page can: how you sound, whether you are fun, and whether there is any chemistry.

If she asks to see more of you, send a photo you would be happy to have forwarded, not a screenshot of the whole page. A man who is comfortable being seen is more attractive than a man who is proud of a layout.

If you are meeting her through a friend, let the friend vouch for you in person. A warm introduction beats a link on any app.

Before you share a screenshot of your own page

Look at what you are about to send. a dating coach's point is that you are judged on your worst photo, since one bad shot makes people assume it is how you actually look.

Check each photo, each written answer and each detail as if a stranger were reading it with no context. Hinge's own advice is that specific answers give other daters a real reason to reach out. If a line would make you wince when a friend reads it, it will not help you with a woman either.

The goal is a page that holds up when someone sees it cold, whether a friend screenshots it or the app shows it to a woman you will never meet in person.
