Section 01

Eat to look and feel better

You don't need a perfect diet. You need meals you can repeat without fighting yourself every day.

Build most meals around protein, fruit or vegetables, and a simple carb. Eggs with toast and fruit works. Chicken, rice, and vegetables works. Greek yogurt with berries works. These meals fill you up and give you enough energy to train, work, and talk to women without feeling heavy.

Stop treating one large meal as proof that you ruined your diet. If you eat a burger and fries with a woman, enjoy the meal. Then eat a normal breakfast the next morning. Don't punish yourself with no food for the rest of the day.

One of our students used to skip breakfast, eat candy at work, and order a large pizza at night. He said he had no willpower. We changed one thing first. He ate eggs and fruit before work. That made the candy less tempting, and his dinner portions got smaller without a fight.

Drink water through the day. Keep a bottle on your desk or in your car. Have coffee if you like coffee, but don't turn every drink into a milkshake. Liquid calories can add up while doing little to fill your stomach.

Section 02

Lift weights and walk more

Your body changes when you give it a reason to change. Lift weights two or three times each week. Use basic moves such as squats, presses, rows, and deadlifts. Start with light weights and learn the form. Add a little weight when the same set feels easy.

You don't need to train like a bodybuilder. A simple gym session can take less than an hour. The goal is to build a stronger chest, back, shoulders, arms, and legs. Those changes show in a shirt and in the way you stand.

Walking helps too. Walk after a meal. Take the stairs when the trip is short. Park farther from the store. These small choices add movement without making your life revolve around exercise.

A guy I coached lost weight after he stopped telling himself he needed a perfect workout. He lifted on three fixed days, then walked for twenty minutes after dinner. When work got busy, he still had a short plan he could follow. His waist got smaller, and he stopped pulling his shirt away from his stomach when women looked at him.

Don't use exercise as a way to earn food. Train because you want a body that serves you well. You want to climb stairs without gasping, carry your bags, and feel good in clothes that fit.

Section 03

Dress for the body you have

Weight loss takes time. You still need clothes that fit the body you have today.

A shirt should sit close to your chest and shoulders without pulling across your stomach. The shoulder seam should rest near the end of your shoulder. Your pants should sit at your waist without needing a tight belt. If the legs bunch around your shoes, get them altered or buy a better cut.

Avoid clothes that are too large. They don't hide extra weight. They make your body look wider and your outfit look careless. Avoid tight clothes too. If your buttons pull apart when you sit, the shirt is too small.

Wear simple colors that work together. Dark jeans, clean sneakers, and a fitted overshirt can make a strong base. Keep your shoes clean. Cut your nails. Wash your hair. Use deodorant. A clean body and clean clothes change what a woman notices before your weight ever becomes a topic.

Don't wait until you lose weight to buy clothes you like. Buy two or three outfits that fit well now. When your body changes, replace them one piece at a time.

Section 04

Stop making weight the center of the date

Women notice when a man keeps checking his stomach, apologizing for his body, or asking if he looks fat. That puts her in the role of calming you down. She came to meet you, not manage your fear.

If she orders dessert, don't say, “I can't eat that. I'm trying to lose weight.” Order what you want and stay present. If you want dessert, split one with her. If you don't, say, “I'm full, but you should get it if you want it.”

If she makes a comment about your body, don't give a long defense. Look at her and say, “I'm taking better care of myself.” Then move the conversation on. You don't need to list your gym sessions, calorie count, or weight from last month.

Your body also doesn't decide whether you can approach a woman. A heavy man with clean clothes, good posture, and a calm voice can start a conversation. A lean man who smells bad, mumbles, and stares at the floor can make women uncomfortable.

Improve your health because you want more energy and a body you respect. Then bring that body into the room without asking permission.
