An Activity Report is a summary of how a woman uses Coffee Meets Bagel. It shows how often she chats with the people she connects with, how often she sends the first message, whether she has been active in the last 72 hours, and how long she usually takes to reply. The report is built from her most recent connections and updates every 72 hours, and subscribers get unlimited access to it.
What the report shows
Each report answers four questions about her recent behavior on the app.
- How often does she actually chat with the people she connects with?
- How often does she send the first message?
- Has she been active in the last 72 hours?
- How long does she usually take to reply?
It is drawn from her most recent connections, so it describes how she uses the app lately rather than her whole history. It refreshes every 72 hours, so treat it as a recent snapshot rather than a live feed.
What it cannot tell you
The report describes her habits with everyone. It says nothing about how she feels about you.
A woman who rarely chats may be picky, busy, or only half interested in the app. A woman who replies slowly may simply have a demanding job. None of that tells you whether she will like your page or answer your message. Treat the report as background, never as a verdict on her or on your chances.
Use it to decide where your effort goes
Where the report really helps is your time. a dating coach points out that men waste real effort writing careful messages to women whose accounts are not even active, women who will never read them. The line about activity in the last 72 hours answers that question directly. If she has not opened the app in days, a long, crafted message is effort you could spend on someone who has.
My approach to early messages fits here. Keep your first few messages quick, with a simple format you can send in about a minute. Invest more once she is replying and plainly interested. The report tells you where a quick message is enough, and the conversation tells you when it is time to try harder.
Reading her reply time
Her usual reply time sets your expectations. If the report says she tends to take a day to answer, a day of silence after your message is normal for her. It is not a sign that anything went wrong, and it is not a reason to follow up three hours later.
If she usually replies within the hour and has been quiet with you for two days, that tells you a little more. It still does not call for a second, longer message. My advice for silence is to send something light that needs no reply, or to leave it alone. A needy follow-up does more damage than the silence did.
Who opens the conversation
The first-message figure tells you whether she tends to start chats herself. If she rarely does, do not sit and wait for her to write first. Open with something short and specific about her page.
If she often opens, that is useful too. You may get a message from her before you have thought of yours. Answer it in kind, keep it light, and let the conversation build from there.
The same four lines describe you
Turn the report around for a moment. The same four questions would describe your own habits on the app.
Do you actually talk to the women you connect with, or do most of your connections sit untouched? Do you send the first message, or wait to be written to? Are you on the app most days, or in bursts? And do you answer within a reasonable time, or let a reply sit for three days?
A man who connects and then goes silent is wasting the connections he already earned. a dating coach's routine is the fix: a short session once or twice a day, answering the women closest to a date first, then opening with everyone new. Habits like that make you easier to date, whatever any report says.
Her replies to you still decide it
The most accurate report on a woman is the chat you are actually having with her. Coaching material on flaking puts it plainly. Her interest shows most clearly in how easily she agrees to a plan. A woman whose report shows slow replies but who says yes to Thursday is a better prospect than a quick replier who keeps changing the subject.
So use the report to set your expectations and ration your effort. Then let her replies, and her answer when you suggest a place and a time, tell you the rest.
