Basic membership is free. Premium is paid, and Christian Mingle does not set one fixed price for it, so the cost of better matches and more messages is whatever checkout shows. The cost depends on how long a subscription you pick and on any promotion running, and the amount shown at checkout is the accurate one. You see the plans by choosing Upgrade to Premium in the app or on the website.

Why there is no single number

Christian Mingle's help center says the price of Premium varies by subscription length and by promotions. A longer term is charged differently from a shorter one, and a promotion changes the figure for whoever signs up while it runs.

That is why any price you read in a review is unreliable. It was true for one plan on one day. Go to the plans screen yourself, and treat what you see there as the only real answer.

How the billing works

Each subscription term is one upfront payment. Christian Mingle says there is no monthly installment option, so a longer term means a larger charge on the day you buy it.

If you used a coupon or a promotional price, it applies to the first term only. When that term ends, the subscription renews at the standard price.

Premium also renews automatically. Turn off auto-renewal before the billing date if you do not want that. Put a reminder in your phone on the day you buy, because most men forget the renewal until the charge appears.

Refunds and canceling

Canceling stops future renewals, but it does not refund the term you are in. Christian Mingle says all purchases are final.

Read that as a plain rule. Do not buy a long term to find out whether you like the site. If you are unsure, take the shortest term the screen offers, and know that whatever you pay for is spent.

What Premium adds over Basic

Premium gives you unlimited likes and a larger set of daily recommended picks. You can see who liked you before a match, and you get extra match filters. It also adds read receipts and a larger weekly allowance of Intro Messages.

Some of these help in a real way. Seeing who liked you saves time, because those women have already said yes. Extra filters let you narrow the pool to what matters to you. Unlimited likes remove a daily ceiling.

Read receipts are the one to think about. Knowing she read your message does not make her answer it.

Is it worth paying for?

Start with Basic and find out whether the site has women near you who share your faith and your plans. A few weeks of free use tell you more than any review.

If the free version shows you women you would like to meet, and you hit the limits on likes or recommendations, Premium can earn its cost. If the free version shows you nobody you want, no plan will fix that.

Also notice what Premium cannot change. It does not change how a woman judges your photos or your first message. It shows you to more women or lets you reach more of them, and each of them decides on the same things as before.

Make the paid weeks count

If you subscribe, treat the term as a short project. Choose your best photos before you pay. Write a first message that mentions one real detail from her page, in a sentence or two. Suggest a specific, easy plan, such as coffee near her, within a few exchanges, instead of chatting for weeks.

a dating coach's view on paid features is that they work like a multiplier. They show you to more people and in better positions, which helps most when your page is already strong. A weak page multiplied is still weak.

Check your page before you spend

If you are not getting replies on the free version, look at your photos and your openers first. Those two things decide most of what happens, and they will follow you to any site or app.

A coach who reads your photos and your messages together can tell you which is holding you back before you spend anything on a plan.
