Do the quick fixes to your photos first, and do not wait on them. They take an afternoon, and they do not slow down your plans for the Bootcamp. The Bootcamp itself is a different skill: approaching women in person, in the field, and holding a conversation. Neither one replaces the other, so the question is about order, and the order is simple.
What to know first
- A profile gets you attention from women who find you on an app. A Bootcamp teaches you to start a conversation with a woman standing in front of you.
- The two do not compete for the same time. A profile fix is a few hours. A Bootcamp is days in the field.
- The Bootcamp has no skill floor, and you do not need a finished profile before you book.
- The skills from the Bootcamp help on a first date from an app too, since the conversation is the same skill.
- You leave a Bootcamp with a written practice plan and access to the community Slack.
Why the profile comes first
A weak profile is the cheapest problem to fix. A man with one blurry photo and an empty bio is losing opportunities he never sees, and the repair is mostly effort: choose better pictures, write a few honest lines, and ask a friend whether it sounds like you.
Do that first because it is quick, and because it stops your app time from working against you while you plan the bigger step. Nothing about the Bootcamp needs a finished profile, so this is about stopping a leak, not meeting a requirement.
Why the Bootcamp should not wait for it
Men often turn the profile into a reason to delay. They tweak photos for weeks, wait for the next batch of pictures, and tell themselves they will book once everything online looks right. It is a comfortable place to hide, because tweaking a photo carries no risk and talking to a stranger does.
The skill a profile cannot give you is the one a Bootcamp trains. Every training day is two four-hour blocks in the field, with live coaching on each approach and feedback after every set. You practice the moment where you see a woman, walk over and say something. That moment decides most of your results with women outside the apps.
a dating coach gives the reason hesitation costs so much: "Most guys lose the girl not because they did something wrong. They hesitated." No amount of profile work fixes hesitation.
When the Bootcamp comes first
Book the Bootcamp before touching your profile in a few cases:
- You have no plans to use the apps. A man who wants to meet women in person has little reason to polish a profile first.
- You live or work somewhere with many women around, such as a busy city, and walking up is the thing you are missing.
- You can already afford the hours for a Bootcamp but have not found good photos yet. Do not hold one up for the other.
How the two work together
A profile and approach skills feed each other more than most men notice.
Conversation carries over. What you practice in the field, starting a talk, keeping it going without an interview, and moving to a number, is the same skill on the first date you get from an app. A man who can talk to a woman in a coffee shop tends to do better across the table at the bar.
Confidence helps your photos. A man who has been approaching women relaxes, and it shows. Many men take their best pictures after a few weeks of going out, because they are not performing for the camera.
Your approach gives you stories. Real conversations give you something honest to say on a first date and something honest to put in a bio.
A simple order
- Spend an afternoon on the basics of your profile: a clear photo of your face, a photo that shows your life, and a short bio that sounds like you.
- Choose Group or Private, and book. Group or Private compares them.
- Do the Bootcamp.
- Go back to your profile with a coach's feedback in your head and rework it if you want. You have stories now.
Questions men ask
Do I need a finished profile before a Bootcamp?
No. The program is about approaching women in person. Your profile is a separate project.
What if I only use the apps?
Then the Bootcamp still helps, since the conversation after a match is the skill you practice. It is a bigger commitment than a profile fix, so read is a dating bootcamp worth it first.
Should I do online coaching before the Bootcamp?
For most men who want to approach, the Bootcamp comes first.
Does the Bootcamp cover profiles?
No. The four parts are approaching and conversation, attraction and delivery, numbers and dates, and rejection and follow-through. All of it is in person.
