Write your page, set the kind of women you want to see in Discover, look through single photos in Flame, and use the Voice Call button to talk. The same email and password work on the website and the app. Not many matches usually means your criteria are too tight, and EliteSingles suggests broadening them.
Set up your page
To edit it, click My profile under your main photo icon, click the pencil icon next to a field, then click Save or Submit for Approval, depending on the section. Some sections go through approval, which means a wait before the change shows.
Take the time to write it properly. A page on this site is read by women who chose a site that asks for more than a photo. Say what you do, what a good week looks like and what you want from a relationship. Add specifics: the weekend trip, the restaurant you keep going back to, the thing you are learning.
Discover: choose who you see
Discover lets you set the types of profiles you want to see. You start with gender, age and location. After that you can narrow by looks, lifestyle and what each person wants from a relationship. Searches are unlimited.
Narrowing is where men go wrong. Every extra filter removes real women. A man who sets six or seven tight requirements and then wonders why the list is empty has done it to himself.
Start with the basics and look at who appears. Add one filter at a time, and only if the list is too long to read.
Flame: like or skip
Flame shows you a potential match's photo, and you can like or skip. If you both like each other, you both get a notification email. Skipping does not hide that person from you forever.
Because it works on a photo, Flame is quick. That is a good reason to be choosy about it. Like the women you would actually meet, not everyone who passes. a dating coach's advice for any app is to be selective, because liking everyone just fills your list with people you do not want.
Voice calls
You can voice call from a member's profile or from the chat box using the Voice Call button. You may need to allow microphone access in your browser.
If a woman cannot see your button, turn off Prevent Incoming Video & Voice Calls in Settings. That setting is easy to forget, and it can quietly stop calls you would like to receive.
A short call is the quickest way to turn typing into a real conversation. After a few good exchanges, ask: "Want to hop on a quick call this week?" Keep it light.
Website and app, one account
You can use the same EliteSingles account on the website and the app, with the same email and password. So you can write your page on a laptop, where long answers are easier, and answer women from your phone.
Check both once. The way your page looks on a phone is how many women will see it, so scroll through it there before you assume it works.
When you are not getting many matches
EliteSingles suggests that if you are not getting many matches, your criteria may be too specific, and it recommends broadening them.
Do that first. Then look at the two things a woman sees before she reads anything: your lead photo and your first line. A clear, recent close-up in daylight and one specific line about her page do more than any setting.
Give each change a week or two before judging it. Change one thing at a time, so you know what worked. If you edit your page again, remember that some sections go through approval, so a change may not be visible for a while.
A weekly routine that fits a serious site
Spend a short time each day, not a long time once a week. Open the site, check who has written or liked you, answer those, and send a few well-chosen first lines of your own.
Each week, count how many women you contacted, how many answered, and how many reached a call or a date. If the first number is high and the second low, fix your first line. If chats start and stall, suggest a call sooner.
EliteSingles says it is for people who want something serious. Use it that way. Write clearly, be selective, and move from messages to a call and then a meeting within a short time. A man who does that on a site built for it has a real advantage over one who chats for weeks.
