Only with Raya+. On a standard Raya membership you cannot see who liked you. You find out only when you like her too, and that mutual like is also what lets the two of you chat and message each other. Raya+, the pricier membership, is the one reviews of the app say shows you who likes you.
How likes work on a standard membership
Raya's privacy policy describes the basic rule: a mutual like between you and another member is what lets you chat.
So on a standard membership, a like from a woman stays invisible to you. Reviews of the app say standard members cannot see who liked them unless they both match. From your side, it looks the same as if she never liked you at all, until you like her and the match appears.
That has a practical consequence. Every woman you pass on might be a woman who already liked you. You cannot check first.
What Raya+ changes
Raya sells Raya+ as a separate membership, priced above the standard one, in its App Store in-app purchases. Reviews of the app list seeing who likes you among its features.
With it, the women who liked you are visible. You can look at them, decide which ones you would like to meet, and like them back. Each of those is a match waiting for you.
It also takes the guesswork out of your own likes. You no longer have to wonder, before you decide on a woman, whether she already decided on you.
Reviews describe other Raya+ features too, including more people each day and unlimited likes. But seeing your likes is the one that most directly turns into conversations.
Is seeing your likes worth the upgrade
It depends on how many likes you are getting that you cannot see.
On a small app like Raya, you have no way to count them from a standard membership. What you can count is how many of your own likes turn into matches. If your likes often turn into matches, women are clearly responding to you. There are likely others liking you that you never reached, and Raya+ would show them.
If your likes mostly go unanswered, there is probably not much waiting for you behind the upgrade. The money is better spent on the pictures and write-up that decide whether she likes you in the first place.
Be clear about which feature you are after. If all you want is more likes, Raya sells a pack of Extra Likes on its own, without any change to your membership. If what you want is to see who already liked you, Raya+ is the route.
a dating coach's approach to every paid feature works here. Buy the shortest period you can, count the dates it brings against the period before, and let that count decide.
Getting the most from a standard membership
Without Raya+, the only way to reach a woman who liked you is to like her. So be deliberate about who gets your likes.
Like the women you would honestly want to take out, and do not hold back on them hoping they go first. You will never know if they did. Holding back on a woman you liked is how you miss a match that was already half made.
At the same time, do not like everyone. A like you would never follow up on wastes one of your limited likes and leaves you with matches you do not want to talk to.
When a match appears
Whichever membership you have, the moment a match appears is when most of the value is won or lost.
Write to her the same day. Her like is fresh, and so are you in her mind. A few days later you are one of several people she half remembers.
Make the first message about her. a dating coach warns against the lines that could go to anyone, like asking how her weekend was. Take one detail from her page, react to it, and add a light guess about what kind of person she is. It gives her something to react to, which a plain hello does not.
Moving it off the app
Once she is answering with some energy, suggest meeting. Swap numbers, name a rough plan, and pick a day.
a dating coach's order is simple. Agree in general that you should grab a drink, and exchange numbers. Then pick up the conversation by text with a callback to something you joked about on the app. Chatting on the app for weeks with no plan is how a match you worked for goes quiet. On an app where you see a limited number of people a day, that is an expensive way to lose one.
