Not with a code. Badoo's help center says it has no option to redeem promo codes, so there is no code to hunt for and nothing to type in. What it does is run special offers from time to time, and those are the only route to a cheaper Premium that it describes. When one is on, it appears inside the dating app, and the real question is whether Premium would bring you more matches and better messages.

What Badoo says about free Premium

Premium is a paid subscription. The help center describes no way to claim it for nothing, and the one thing it says about codes is that you cannot redeem them. So a code from a forum, a video or a stranger has nowhere to go.

That is worth knowing early, because searches for a free Premium send a lot of men down a long and pointless trail. Anything that promises Premium outside Badoo's own offers is outside what Badoo describes. Do not hand your login or your card details to a site that claims otherwise.

Where a special offer shows up

When Badoo is running a special offer, it appears as a notification banner inside the app. The payment page also shows the pricing details and any promotion that is active. You reach it from the Plans section of your Profile tab, where you can choose Get Extra or Get Premium.

Looking costs nothing. You can open the payment page, read what is on offer, and close it without buying anything. If a banner catches your eye, read it before you tap, so you know what you are agreeing to.

Free Credits expire

Credits are Badoo's top-up currency, separate from Premium. You spend them on things like moving to the top of Discover or being shown to more people in Encounters.

Badoo says free or promotional Credits may expire at any time, so they should be used before they do. A free balance you leave alone is a free balance you lose. If you are handed some, decide that day what they are for. Spend them on something that serves a woman you already want to meet, not on a hunch.

If Premium appeared and you did not pay

Some men search this because Premium turned up on their account without a payment. The only free route Badoo describes is a special offer, so look at what you accepted. Then open the plan details in your Profile tab and find out what happens when it ends.

Do not leave that to chance. Badoo says its subscriptions renew automatically unless they are cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Write down the date, and decide before it arrives whether you want to keep going.

What a free Premium is worth

Premium can show you who likes you and give your sent messages priority. It also adds a daily crush, removes ads, lets you undo an accidental left swipe, lifts the limit on filters and lets you browse privately.

Some of that is comfort. Ad removal and an undo for a swipe you meant to go the other way are pleasant, nothing more. Seeing who likes you and getting priority for your messages are the two that can change results, but only for a man whose photos already draw likes. Premium multiplies what you already have.

What you can improve for nothing

A man hunting for free Premium is usually trying to get more out of the app without spending. Plenty of that is available at no cost. Badoo's own advice for better matches is a complete page with recent photos, photo verification and interests. It also suggests relaxing your age and distance filters, so more people reach you.

Verification costs nothing and removes one easy reason for a woman to pass. A clear, recent photo of your face costs nothing either, and it does more for your results than any paid feature. Do those first. If the free version works, a paid feature has something to multiply.

Test it on your matches and messages before you pay for more

a dating coach is not against paying for dating apps. He argues that men who refuse to spend anything on them cost themselves, because a little money often saves a lot of time. His rule is to test a paid feature cheaply and keep it only if the numbers move.

Premium can be taken for 7 days, which makes the shortest plan a fair test. Before you start, write down last week's numbers: how many women you liked, how many matches you got, how many conversations began, how many plans you made. Use Premium for the week and count the same things.

If the numbers rise, you have your answer, and you can decide about a longer plan with evidence. If they do not, the fix is your photos and your first message, and no tier will change that. Set a reminder to cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, so you are not charged for a second week you never chose.
