Mostly no. Hinge's help pages describe no way to take back a like you have sent. For likes you receive, you either match or skip each one. The one place a Delete button appears is Hidden Likes, when a comment attached to a like has been filtered.

Likes you send

Once you send a like, Hinge removes that woman's page from your Discover feed. You cannot see the pages you liked until those women choose to match with you.

That has two practical effects. You cannot go back and unsend, and you cannot check on a like to see whether it has been answered. The like is in her hands. If she matches, a conversation opens. If she does not, nothing visible happens on your side.

So the useful habit is to treat every like as final before you tap. Read the whole page, including the prompt answers, then decide. A like sent on the strength of one photo is the one men most often wish they could take back.

Likes you receive

In the Likes You tab, you see one like at a time and choose to match or skip. A free member sees one incoming like at a time. Subscribers can see all incoming likes at once.

Skipping is the closest thing to deleting a like you have received. You look at the page, decide you are not interested, and skip it. The like is gone from your list, and you do not owe her anything.

Do not feel guilty about skipping. Matching with a woman you have no interest in wastes her time and clutters your list with a conversation you are going to abandon.

Undo Skip: the fix for a skip you regret

The reverse of this problem is a skip you did by accident. Hinge has an Undo Skip for exactly that. Free members get a small weekly allowance of undo skips. Hinge+ and HingeX subscribers can undo their most recent skip as many times as they like.

Use it when your thumb slipped, not when you are second-guessing. If you looked at a woman's page properly and passed, the first reaction was probably right.

The one place you can delete a like

Hinge has a setting called Comment Filter. With it on, a like whose comment is filtered goes to Hidden Likes, marked Comment Hidden. From that screen you can tap Delete at the bottom to remove the like without reading it.

That is the only delete button the help pages describe for likes. It exists for women who would rather not read a crude comment, and it is a good reason to keep your comments clean. A man who sends rude lines may have them deleted unread, and he will not be told.

Why a like vanishes from your list

Sometimes a like you were looking at is suddenly gone, and men assume they did something. Hinge says a like that disappears from the Likes You tab means the person who sent it deleted their Hinge profile.

That is nothing to do with you. She left the app, so her like went with her. There is nothing to restore and nothing to chase.

What this means for how you use likes

Since likes cannot be deleted, the time to be careful is before you send one. A few habits help.

Send likes to women you would genuinely take out. A like is final, and a pile of likes to women you do not care about turns into a pile of chats you will not answer.

Add a comment when you have something real to say. Keep it specific to something she showed or wrote, and keep it clean enough to survive a filter.

Do not flick through pages as a game. The faster you skip, the more likely you are to pass over someone you would have liked.

If your problem is a list you do not like

Men often ask about deleting likes because they have too many of them in their list, or because the women liking them are not the ones they want. That is a different problem, and the answer is not a delete button.

If the likes coming in are not from women you would date, look at what your page attracts. Your photos and prompt answers decide who likes you. Change one of them, wait a week, and watch whether the women who like you shift.

If the likes you send are not being returned, the same applies in reverse. Look at your lead photo first, then at whether your comments say anything specific. Those two decide more of your results than any setting does.
