Can You Change Your Age on Feeld

Only in the first seven days after you create your account. During that week you can correct your date of birth in Settings. After that Feeld will not change it, and the only way to show a different age is to start a new account, which means losing your chats, your connections and any Pings or Uplift you bought. Majestic is the one purchase that can be transferred.

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Edit Profile.
3. Tap Date of birth.
4. Enter the correct date.

Do it the day you notice. The seven days run from when you created the account, not from when you spot the mistake, so a typo you find on day six leaves you one day to act.

Check the age Feeld shows after you change it. If it still looks wrong, go back through the steps before the week runs out.

Once the first week has passed, Feeld will not edit your date of birth. There is no setting for it and no way around it inside the account.

The only route left is a new account, and that has a real price. You lose:

• Every chat you have going.
• Every connection you have made.
• Any Pings or Uplift you paid for.

Majestic is the exception, because it can be transferred to the new account. Find out how before you close the old one, so you do not end up paying twice.

That depends on how big the error is and how much you have built.

If you are a few days in with a handful of connections, a new account costs you almost nothing. If you have been on Feeld for months and you are talking to several women you like, starting over throws all of that away to fix a number.

A useful middle path is to finish what you have first. a dating coach moves a woman from the app to her number within four to seven messages. If you are going to rebuild, get the numbers of the women you are actively talking to, then close the old account. The conversations that matter carry on by text, and the new account starts with the right age.

There are two reasons, and only one of them is a good one.

The first is a genuine mistake. You tapped the wrong year at signup and now you are shown as older or younger than you are. That is worth fixing, and the steps above are how.

The second is wanting to look younger. Men in their late thirties and forties notice that some women filter them out by age, and they wonder whether a smaller number would help. coach has described exactly this. At 38, he says, he would have no trouble with a 21-year-old he met in person. On the apps, a woman who sets her age range to a maximum of 29 would never see him at all.

The filter is real. Lying about your age is still the wrong answer to it.

A woman who meets you expecting 34 and sees 41 does not think "close enough". She thinks you lied, and she wonders what else is not true.

My view is that before a woman agrees to meet, she needs some attraction, enough comfort to know you are a real and normal person, and plans on the table. A fake age attacks the comfort part directly. Even if she never checks, you carry the lie into every conversation, and it comes out the first time she asks about school, your career, or when you moved to the city.

It also wastes your time. The women you reach by lying are the ones who filtered your real age out. Plenty of them will leave the moment the truth comes out, and you will have spent weeks on dates that were never going to last.

The better move is to aim at the women who are open to your age and give them a reason to be glad about it.

Show the life a man your age actually has. Your photos and what you write should look settled and interesting, not like you are trying to pass for 26. Write your first messages from that same place: relaxed, direct, and in no hurry.

If she asks your age, answer plainly and move on. A woman who asks while she is enjoying the chat usually just wants the fact, not an apology. Treat it as one more detail about you, and it will land as one.
