In Miami you meet women where they are relaxed: on the beach and in cafes during the day, and in bars, lounges and rooftop spots in the evening. The city is warm most of the year and built around going out, so people are social. You walk up, say hello, and see how she responds. No app is needed.
Men type this as "where to meet girls in Miami" and "where to meet single women in Miami". The places below answer both. Miami is also one of the two cities where Cold Approach runs its Bootcamp, so the last section explains how that works.
What Miami is like for approaching
a dating coach describes Miami as a nightlife and party city that draws a lot of tourists. He also notes it has more going on than nightlife alone, and that the weather is good enough to go out nearly all year. The summer is hot, and he calls the winter beautiful.
The practical result is that Miami offers daytime and nighttime options in every season. It is also a city where attractive women get approached often. A calm, friendly hello stands out more than a loud one.
Daytime places
The beach. People are relaxed and not in a rush. They stay in one place, so you are not chasing anyone. Miami Beach is a separate city across the bay from the mainland, so decide which side you are on before you go.
Cafes. A woman at a cafe with a coffee is stationary and easy to approach. A quick honest line about what you noticed is enough.
Lincoln Road. A pedestrian mall on South Beach lined with shops, restaurants and galleries. People stroll there, and they stop. That makes it easier to catch a woman who is not hurrying.
Skip anyone who is clearly on her way somewhere, on the phone or just out of a ride. Reading the moment is part of the skill.
Evening places
South Beach. Ocean Drive and Washington Avenue are lively after dark, and many people get around on foot.
Wynwood. A district of street art, restaurants, breweries and places to dance. The setting gives you an easy opening: you can ask about a mural or what she recommends.
Brickell. The financial district, with restaurants, shops and bars. It tends to draw people who came out after work.
Coconut Grove and the Design District. Cafes and bars in the Grove, and a mix of shopping, dining and culture in the Design District. Each has a different feel.
Rooftop bars can be good early in the evening, before the music is too loud to talk over.
How to start
Say hello, tell her why you stopped and let her answer. "I saw you and wanted to say hi" is enough. Do not lead with a compliment on her looks, and do not reach for a line. Ask about whatever is in front of you, such as the place, the drink or the mural, and listen.
Spanish is widely spoken in Miami. A warm hello in either language costs nothing.
If she is interested, suggest a coffee or a drink close by, or ask for her number. If she is not, thank her and leave. The whole exchange can take under a minute.
A word on type
Men also search for particular types of women: Asian women, trans women, and so on. No place is set aside for them. You approach a woman you are drawn to, say hello and find out who she is by talking. The method and the respect are the same for everyone.
Why a list is not enough
Most men reading this can already name a beach and a bar. What they cannot do is walk over. That is the part worth practicing with someone watching.
Cold Approach publishes scheduled Group weekends in Miami, Friday to Sunday, led by Matthew Stevens. Group is three days at three students per coach at most, and a Private Bootcamp is fully one-on-one over one, two or three days, with the dates arranged with you after booking. Each training day is two four-hour blocks in the field, with daygame and nightgame mixed to suit you. Your coach is beside you, coaches each approach as it happens and reviews every set. You leave with a written practice plan and access to the community Slack.
