What Can You Send in a Bumble Chat?

Quite a lot. In a Bumble chat you can send ordinary messages, GIFs, pictures from your camera roll or taken in the chat, and recorded video. You can also play the Question Game, ask her to verify if she has not already, send a voice note, or start a video call inside the app without sharing your phone number.

That is the menu. The more useful question is which of these actually help you get a date, and which ones just fill space.

Most of what matters happens in plain messages. Keep them short. Answer what she said, add one thing of your own, and give her something easy to reply to.

A message she can answer in ten seconds gets answered. A wall of text gets saved for later, and later often never comes. If you have more to say, split it into two or three short lines rather than one long block. It reads like a conversation instead of a letter.

A good GIF can land a joke or answer a tease faster than words can. Once in a while, it shows you are relaxed and a bit playful.
