The useful part comes when you watch a short lesson, pick one skill, and use it the same day.
Watch for words you can use
Good dating advice gives you words you can say out loud.
You should hear how a man starts a talk with a woman. You should hear how he asks a question, makes a joke, and keeps his voice calm. You should also hear what he says when she gives a short answer.
For example, a video may show a man saying:
“Your jacket caught my eye, so I wanted to meet you. I’m Mark.”
That line works because it is clear. He says why he walked over. He does not hide behind a weak question about the weather. He does not spend five minutes standing near her and hoping she notices him.
Another video may show him asking:
“What brings you out tonight?”
That question gives her an easy answer. She can talk about the bar, her friends, her work, or what she plans to do after she leaves. His job is to listen and respond to what she says.
Do not copy every word from a video. Copy the reason behind the words. Speak with a clear voice. Say what made you walk over. Then give her room to answer.
Watch how men handle the first 30 seconds
The first part of a talk often feels hard because you want her to like you at once. You may speak too fast, ask five questions in a row, or search for the perfect joke.
A strong video lets you see what calm behavior looks like.
The man walks over at a normal pace. He stands where she can see him. He smiles. He says one clear line. Then he stays quiet while she answers.
That pause matters. Many men rush to fill one second of silence. They add another question before she finishes speaking. They look at the floor or check their phone. She then has to carry the talk while he tries to think of something clever.
Try this instead. After she answers, respond to one detail.
Her: “I’m here with my sister.”
You: “I guessed you two were close. You both have the same loud laugh.”
That gives her something to react to. It also shows that you paid attention. You are not running through a list of questions.
When you watch a video, pause after the woman speaks. Ask yourself what you would say next. Then press play and compare your answer with his.
Study what happens when she gives you a hard time
Women may tease you, question your job, or say that you look too serious. You do not need a sharp comeback every time. You need to stay relaxed and answer without trying to prove your worth.
A video can show the difference between a calm answer and a weak one.
Her: “You probably say that to every woman.”
Weak answer: “No, I swear I don’t. I really mean it.”
Calm answer: “Only women with good jackets.”
The second answer is short. He does not argue. He does not give a long speech about his good intentions. He accepts the joke and adds his own.
You can also answer with a simple truth.
Her: “You’re quiet.”
You: “I’m quiet for the first five minutes. Then I become a problem.”
The line works because it does not sound hurt. He does not rush to show that he is interesting. He lets her see that he is comfortable with himself.
When a woman gives you a hard time, keep your shoulders down. Look at her. Speak at the same speed. You do not need to win the exchange.
Use each video as a practice task
Do not watch a lesson and then open another one at once. Pick one task and take it outside.
You may choose to start three talks with women by saying what caught your eye. You may choose to ask one question and then respond to her answer instead of asking another question. You may choose to hold eye contact for one extra second before you speak.
Keep the task small enough to measure.
After each talk, write down what happened:
- Where you met her
- The first line you used
- What she said
- How you replied
- Where the talk ended
Do not write a long report about your mood. Write the words that were said. Those words show you what to change.
A guy I coached once wrote that women were losing interest because he was “too boring.” When we looked at his notes, he asked each woman the same three questions. He did not share anything about himself. His problem was not his personality. He gave each woman a job interview.
His new task was simple. After every answer, he had to share one short detail about himself before asking another question.
A woman said she liked hiking. He replied, “I went once and spent more time fighting a broken shoelace than looking at the view.” Then he asked which trail she liked.
The talks became easier because he gave women something to work with.
Know what good progress looks like
Progress does not mean every woman gives you her number. Some women will be busy. Some will have a partner. Some will not want to talk. You still need to judge your actions by what you controlled.
Did you walk over when you wanted to? Did you speak in a clear voice? Did you stay present while she answered? Did you ask her to meet again when the talk went well?
A simple invite is enough:
“I like talking with you. Let’s get coffee this week.”
If she says yes, suggest a place and a time. If she says no, accept it and move on. Do not ask for a reason. Do not send a long message later to change her mind.
The videos can show you what to say. Your real talks teach you what happens when you say it. Watch less. Practice more.
