No. Hinge has no customer support phone number. You reach its support team by email at hello@hinge.co, through its request form, or through the chatbot on its Help Center, and Hinge warns that the many support numbers posted on other websites have nothing to do with it.

The three real ways to reach Hinge

  1. Email: hello@hinge.co.
  2. The request form on Hinge's Help Center.
  3. The chatbot on the Help Center, which Hinge's pages also call the Support Bot.

That is the full list. None of them is a phone call, and none of them costs anything. Hinge says its support is always free.

Type the question into a search engine and you may well find a phone number sitting right under it, formatted to look official. Hinge says plainly that many fake support numbers are posted on other websites and have nothing to do with it.

The people behind those numbers are counting on a man who is locked out, stressed and in a hurry. He wants a human voice, he finds a number, and he calls it. From there the call is designed to get something out of him.

What a fake support call asks for

Hinge gives you two tests that settle it quickly.

Hinge support is always free. So if the person on the phone mentions a fee to restore your account, a charge to lift a ban, or a payment to "verify" you, it is not Hinge.

Hinge support will never ask to connect remotely to your computer. So if you are asked to install an app, open a link that lets someone see your screen, or read out a code so they can "get in and fix it", it is not Hinge.

Add one more of your own. Hinge says never to share the login codes it sends you, with anyone. Anyone who asks for one wants your account. Hang up.

If you already paid someone or let them onto your computer, call your bank about the payment and change the passwords on anything they could have seen. Then contact Hinge through the real channels above.

How to write to support so they can help

Since you cannot talk it through on a call, the first message has to do the work. Make it specific.

  • Say what is happening in one plain sentence. "I can't log in with my phone number" beats "my account is broken."
  • Say how you log in: phone number, Google Account or Apple ID.
  • Give the phone number and email address on the account, so they can find it.
  • List what you have already tried.

If you have lost access to the phone number on your account, say that clearly. Hinge does not let members change that number, but it can delete the old account so you can start fresh. Your first message should include the old number and a written line confirming that Hinge may delete the old account.

Try Hinge's first fix before you write

For most technical problems, Hinge's advice is to log out and log back in, which it calls the first line of defense. Tap your Photo Icon, scroll down to the Gear Icon, tap Log Out, then sign back in.

It is quick, it fixes a lot, and if it does not, you can tell support you already tried it.

Do not let a support ticket stall your dates

Email support means waiting for a reply, and the women you were talking to do not know you are waiting on a ticket. They just see you go quiet.

This is where a dating coach's gameplan earns its place. Once a conversation is flirty and she is clearly engaged, you trade numbers, and in the US and Canada the phone is where it naturally goes. He does it to make things more personal and get her more invested. It also means an account problem does not cut you off from her.

A man whose best conversations are already in his texts can wait on Hinge support calmly. A man whose whole week lives in the app cannot.

The short answer

Hinge has no phone number for customer service. Use hello@hinge.co, the request form or the Help Center chatbot, and treat any Hinge support number you find online as a scam. Real Hinge support is free, never asks to connect to your computer, and never needs your login code.
