Yes, at any time. Open your profile, choose Edit profile, and look under photos and videos. Tap the plus icon to add one, tap and hold a photo to move it, and tap the cross at its top right to delete it. Bumble also has a Best Photo setting that checks your photos and puts the most popular one first, and you can switch it on or off with the toggle under the photos.
How to add a photo
In Edit profile, go to the photos and videos section and tap the plus icon. Choose the picture from your phone, and it goes into the next free slot.
Bumble gives you a fixed number of slots, so you cannot keep adding forever. Photos can be JPG or PNG. When the slots are full, delete a weaker one to make room for a better one.
How to change the order
Tap and hold a photo, then drag it to where you want it.
The order matters more than any other edit you can make. The photo in the first slot is the one she sees before anything else, and it decides whether she reads the rest.
How to delete a photo
Tap the cross at the top right of the photo and confirm. Do it without sentiment.
Delete anything where you are hard to find, anything dark or blurry, anything from years ago, and anything where another person is the interesting one. Men often keep a weak photo to avoid an empty slot. A weak photo costs you more than an empty slot does.
What the Best Photo toggle does
Best Photo looks at your pictures and puts the most popular one first. Turn it on if you are unsure which picture to lead with, and leave it off if you already know.
It is a useful second opinion, but it can only choose among what you gave it. If every photo is mediocre, it will put the best mediocre one first. Fix the pool before you trust the sorting.
Which photo should lead
a dating coach is direct about this. The first photo should be the absolute best photo of your face you have, clear, well lit and with nothing hiding you. One of the first things any woman wants to know is what you look like and whether she finds you attractive.
After that, use the other slots to show a life. A photo of you out with friends, one doing something you enjoy, one in a place that looks like where you live. Different settings and outfits across the set make it believable.
A simple way to order a set
Lead with the clear face shot. Second, a photo that shows you with other people or somewhere you actually go, so she sees you have a life. Then add something that shows an interest, and a full-length shot so she knows what you look like beyond the face.
Change one thing at a time. If you swap the first photo and the order and two others on the same day, you will not know which move helped. Make one change, wait a few days, and compare.
Keep the editing honest
Bumble says to avoid heavy filters and overly edited pictures. Take that seriously. A heavily filtered photo is a first-date problem, because she meets a man who does not match the pictures and spends the evening adjusting her opinion.
Light cleanup is fine. If you want better photos than a friend can take, coach notes that AI-generated photos can be very good, and that a friend with a good eye and a free afternoon is a decent place to start. In both cases the goal is photos that look like you on a good day.
Treat the first set as a draft
My advice on dating apps is that your first set is never your best work. You can find better photos, tweak the order and test what changes. Edit them, wait a few days, and watch how many people respond.
If replies go up after a swap, keep the change. If they drop, put the old photo back. You have the tools to try this every week.
